A man who distributed a series of anti-LGBTQ2S+ leaflets in Whitehorse last month will not be facing criminal charges, police confirmed in an email on June 3.
RCMP previously told the News there were four files under investigation related to Bill Whatcott’s recent time in the territory.
“Anyone with questions or concerns is encouraged to reach out to the Whitehorse RCMP or other supports/resources that they trust,” Cst. Carlie McCann said.

“Police will continue to take any concerns from the LGBTQ2S+ community seriously, and are working to strengthen our relationship with the LGBTQ2S+ community.”
An NDP spokesperson and cabinet communications for the territorial government each confirmed in May the respective parties reported the leaflets to police.
The leaflets specifically criticize Bill 304, a motion put forward in the Yukon legislature by NDP MLA Emily Tredger, who is named in the leaflet, during the 2022 spring sitting.
Premier Sandy Silver of the Yukon Liberal Party is also called out by name in the leaflets, alongside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
In April, Yukon legislators from all three territorial parties voted in favour of passing the opposition-led bill to make it mandatory for territorial schools to have safe spaces in the form of activities and organizations dedicated to LGBTQ2S+ students.

Action filed against school board that expelled teacher criticizing age-appropriateness of classroom books
Posted On: June 20, 2022
HAMILTON – The Justice Centre announced today that legal action is being taken against the Waterloo Region District School Board on behalf of Carolyn Burjoski. Ms. Burjoski, a former elementary school teacher, was expelled from a school board meeting after she objected to Board decisions to ban library books deemed “harmful,” and include books on sexuality as part of the curriculum for all elementary students. Ms. Burjoski attended the meeting, open to the public, on January 17, 2022, and attempted to make a 10-minute presentation to express her views, emphasizing that the proposed sex-ed materials would sexualize children and downplay the risks of medical sex transition.
Ms. Burjoski’s presentation included a passage from a book called Rick, by Alex Gino, about a young boy whose friend talks about naked girls all the time. The boy decides that there must be something wrong with him because he has no sexual feelings, so he declares his “asexual identity.” The presentation also showed a passage from a book entitled The Other Boy, by M.G. Hennessy, which deals with a girl who identifies as a boy and takes puberty blockers and testosterone as part of a medical sex transition. Ms. Burjoski commented that some of the books “make it seem simple or even cool to take puberty blockers and opposite sex hormones.”
Ms. Burjoski’s presentation was cut off after four minutes by Chairperson Scott Piatkowski, who alleged that it violated the Ontario Human Rights Code. The Board voted to uphold Mr. Piatowski’s decision, and Ms. Burjoski was expelled from the meeting.
According to Jorge Pineda, a lawyer for the Justice Centre, “Ms. Burjoski is a former teacher with sincere concerns about the appropriateness of the sexual content being shared with elementary school-aged children in Waterloo Region schools. The Board’s decision to silence her not only deprives her of her right to freedom of expression under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but also deprives the public of hearing an informed dissenting voice on an issue that affects their children”
“The Supreme Court has described the free exchange of ideas as ‘the very lifeblood of democracy’. It’s difficult to imagine how a free society can properly function without vigorously protecting free expression, particularly expression that is deemed offensive or unpopular,” adds Mr. Pineda. “The Board’s decision to silence Ms. Burjoski, based on the false claim that her views violate the Human Rights Code, demonstrates a serious lack of understanding and respect for basic democratic principles and cannot go unchallenged.”
Justice Centre lawyers will argue in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice that the decision to muzzle Ms. Burjoski was a violation of her Charter right to freedom of expression.

Thrive Potluck
When the majority of society is in the grips of chronic mass hysteria, what can you do while you wait for them to wake up? Attempting to have logic-based conversations is usually an exercise in futility. The Plandemic has been a long-term investment for these people with no return on capital except for the mirage on the horizon that remains out of reach. Your logical information is a rude wake-up call that they don’t want to acknowledge.
So, the year 2020 tested the population with the mask. 2021 introduced the “cure” with the vax. Now it’s 2022 and we know we’re in for a “rinse and repeat” scenario. It’s old, it’s tedious and although we must keep standing in truth and freedom, we must also get on with our lives. There’s a great article in the June issue of Druthers titled “The Stay Sane Approach: Respecting People and Recognizing Paranoia.” Those who are awake need to simply continue living life in a “parallel reality.” We live (and by golly, we actually Thrive) WITHOUT masks and WITHOUT jabs. If you wear a mask, stop now. If you got a jab, don’t get any more. We were supposed to be dead from COVID-19 a long time ago. But here we are, still walking this earth. It’s hard to kill people who have functioning immune systems with a so-called virus that has a 99.74% survival rate.
But it’s not enough to just “exist.” We should be living life to the fullest and there is a world of possibilities out there for those who won’t settle for anything less. Those who have chosen to live in perpetual fear will get exhausted and they will eventually notice the greener grass on the other side. The world we live in now sucks and it’s falling apart – yeah! It’s extremely satisfying to watch the elite ding dongs of the world self-sabotage because they think they are more powerful than God. Lunacy is certifiable and we’ve got front-row seating to the propaganda clown show.
Check out the two Thrive documentaries to view our world “outside the box.” Thrive Okanagan was started as a movement to encourage people to live in a parallel reality that is not subject to the current corrupt establishments designed to enslave us. We are creating community where we value each other. By making connections and building a new network of like-minded people, we will have a solid foundation and support-system in place when the walls start crumbling down. We all know that we are fighting an Information War. The enemy (aka government) has mainstream media at their disposal spewing disinformation and misinformation non-stop for over two years now. So many people still remain under the spell of propaganda. How do we reach them? We fight fire with fire. By providing people truth-based information, we give them a different point-of-view to consider. Like David Lindsay has mentioned in the past, it was a flyer in his mailbox that changed the course of his life over 30 years ago. A seed was planted!
In the book “From Dictatorship to Democracy” by Gene Sharp, he states that one of the sources of political power is “Intangible factors, psychological and ideological factors that may induce people to obey and assist the rulers.” On Saturdays at the rallies, we can only reach those who come to us. The ones we NEED to reach are the ones who NEVER come to the rallies. The mandates are temporarily lifted so people are more relaxed right now and possibly more receptive. NOW is the time to spread the truth while we still can. Let’s take advantage of this window of opportunity to educate the masses so they are not so compliant again this fall when Bonnie Henry issues her next “order.”
We always have something at the CLEAR booth that you can take a bundle of for distribution. Right now, we have HUNDREDS of Druthers and Pandemic Papers, as well as Mask/PCR pamphlets and Chris Schaefer’s mask brochure. Soon, we will also have CLEAR Rally cards with catchy messages and links to entice people to get informed. Make this part of your Saturday routine. Grab a bunch of resources, then, sometime during the week, go for a walk in your neighbourhood (or different neighbourhoods each time) and drop these off in people’s mailboxes. I cannot over-emphasize how incredibly important this is! If you have kids, pay your kid a stipend to make deliveries!
We all live in different parts of town so we have the ability to reach a wide geographical range. And remember, you never know who might live in that house. They could be a business owner, a Doctor, a Lawyer, a Councillor, an MSM Reporter or a regular Joe who’s questioning the narrative but doesn’t know we exist. Every flyer delivered is a seed planted.
See you at the CLEAR Booth!

As much as I am vocal opponent of political parties, I find it interesting that Elections Canada’s CEO Stephane Perrault, is has recommended that the Federal election law be changed to allow for deregistration of parties that are “deemed hateful”.
The use of the word “deemed” is frightening as this is a form of a legal fiction which, in this case, will permit the Gov’t to arbitrarily decide something is hateful even it if isn’t, simply to prevent parties from running against them. It will allow them to “monopolize” representation in the House of Commons. This will be all the more reason to support my upcoming initiative this fall to place only independents in the House.
If anyone is opposed to globalism, you are considered a hater.

Government-funded school pamphlet warns against Conservative Party, free speech, Trump & Labels the Red Ensign “Hate”
This report should be on front pages everywhere. The booklet, entitled Confronting and Preventing Hate in Canadian Schools, is said to be a tool against online hate, and is slated for government distribution all across Canada. It is a step toward turning publicly funded schools into Leftist indoctrination camps, with traditional values presented as “hate.” The booklet is a companion to the unprecedented Liberal Internet censorship bill which recently sparked a backlash.
Despite being presented as fighting “hate,” the new booklet instead fuels further hatred and division in Canada.
Diversity Minister Ahmed Hussen was once Canada’s Immigration Minister; he sought to “massively ramp up” refugee intake, and that he did. He also sought to “lead the charge” on the UN’s global migration pact.
In addressing the “core values” that Hussen advocates teaching “our kids”: These are some highlights of the shocking 53-page propaganda booklet, created by the so-called “Anti-hate” network led by Bernie Farber, a member of the Trudeau government’s “expert” advisory group on online “safety.”
Freedom of expression is presented as a cover for “hate.”
Trump’s border wall to stop illegals is presented as “hate.”
Mainstream Conservative parties are singled out and presented as being “infiltrated” by bigots, “groypers,” and “white nationalists.” The inappropriate pamphlet actually states: “While the majority of Groypers are white, there are a growing number of youth of colour involved in the movement, as they engage in antisemitism, anti- feminism/misogyny, anti-2SLGBTQIA+, Islamophobia, and anti-Black racism.”
The book openly names people such as Lauren Southern and Faith Goldy.
It makes the claim: “In our work, some of the most extreme neo-Nazis have been teenage girls.”
It condemns a “specific Canadian flavour” of the “worldview” that is “seen on many college campuses, often under the banner of “Canada First.”
In a chapter on “hate promoting symbols,” the booklet names the Red Ensign flag as offensive, even though it was used as Canada’s national symbol until 1965.
Condemns concerns about terrorism and crime as “anti-immigrant.”
References Trump as a “problematic politician”and condemns his border wall as “racist.”
Warns and alerts about students who may inquire “why there aren’t any straight pride parades, or a white history month during class discussion.”
Without context, anti-police sentiment is taught as the pamphlet teaches that “Black residents are 20 times more likely to be shot by Toronto police than white counterparts.”
The booklet ironically utilizes intersectional tropes and stereotypes “people of colour,” stating that “shared beliefs in misogyny, anti-2SLGBTQIA+, Islamophobia, and anti-Blackness will often attract and unite people of colour to hate groups.”
It heavily promotes the Marxist, anti-nuclear family Black Lives Matter movement.
Parents need to take note of the violation of their children’s minds with Left/Marxist indoctrination. The material presented as “anti-hate” is the most divisive encroachment into the school system to date, singling out and stereotyping any thought that isn’t conducive to its radical agenda. The booklet is in step with Canada’s rapid descent into totalitarianism.
Government-funded school pamphlet calls Canada’s Red Ensign a “hate symbol”

Tory Leadership Candidate Lewis Criticizes Taxpayer Funded ‘Anti-Hate Toolkit’ as ‘Shockingly Hateful’
A federally-funded toolkit touted by the government as providing “anti-racism education” in Canadian schools is being called “shockingly hateful” by Conservative MP and party leadership hopeful Leslyn Lewis.
“Our tax dollars shouldn’t be used to bring a hateful woke agenda into our classrooms,” Lewis said of the toolkit on Twitter on July 6.
“Children should be taught our history, the good & the bad. Our children should be raised to be ready for any & every conversation, not taught how to cancel each-other.”
The toolkit, “Confronting and Preventing Hate in Canadian Schools,” produced by the Canadian Anti-Hate Network was launched by Minister of Housing and Diversity, Ahmed Hussen, on June 29.
“This toolkit will provide a comprehensive anti-racism education program to help equip educators, parents and communities better identify, confront and prevent hate in schools across Canada,” said a June 29 news release from Canadian Heritage.
The toolkit classifies the former flag of Canada until 1965, the Red Ensign, as a “hate-promoting symbol.”
“Its usage denotes a desire to return to Canada’s demographics before 1967, when it was predominantly white,” says the toolkit. “Its usage in modern times is an indicator of hate-promoting beliefs.”
The document presents scenarios where an educator could face a “bigoted ideology” in the classroom and suggests how to respond, such as “A student argues in favour of a problematic politician or policy (eg. Trump’s wall) in classroom discussion.”
“Trump’s wall” refers to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s initiative to construct a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border in an effort to combat illegal immigration between the countries.
Another scenario presented in the toolkit involves a student asking why there are no “straight pride parades” or one that uses the Hitler salute in class.
Suggested approaches include telling the student the behaviour is unacceptable, telling the school administration, or meeting with the parents.
‘Infiltrate’ Conservative Party
The toolkit also says that the alt-right white nationalists “sometimes attempt to infiltrate mainstream Conservative political parties to influence change.”
“You paid for children to be told in school that mentioning our historic flag is racist, for their teachers to be told that if kids mention a ‘problem politician’ they must be confronted immediately, and that our country’s founding political party has been infiltrated by racists and white supremacists,” Lewis wrote on her website while referring to the literature as “a shockingly hateful toolkit.”
In the post, Lewis pointed to her good showing among western provinces during the last Conservative Party leadership race as evidence of western Canada’s rejection of racism, saying they “voted to have a black woman become their leader.”
“Yes, I have encountered racists in my life. But believe me: racists have no particular party affiliation,” Lewis wrote.
“But the woke left needs a boogeyman,” she added. “They can’t handle a society that wrestles with history, both the good and the bad.”
The government provided $268,400 to the Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN) to help with its project.
“The increase of hate-motivated groups and ideologies is a disturbing reality in our country that we have a responsibility to address,” Hussen said in a statement announcing the launch of the toolkit.
“That is why our government is supporting the efforts of organizations like the Canadian Anti-Hate Network to create real solutions to confront and prevent hate.”
The chair of CAHN, Bernie Farber, said in the statement the toolkit will “prevent children from being groomed and recruited by white supremacists.”
A Powerful Open Letter to Pierre Poilievre on Free Speech — Hope He Takes it to Heart
Dear Pierre,
I hope you are keeping well. The rights of Canadians to freely hold and express beliefs are being eroded at an alarming speed under the Trudeau government. Some of its recent decisions even require that Canadians renounce their most deeply held moral convictions and express opinions they disagree with.
In 2018, the Liberal government denied summer job funding to organizations, including charities, that would not sign an attestation supporting abortion. It also passed bill C-16 as part of a trend to force Canadians to express support for the existence of various gender identities beyond the biological categories of male and female, and to use pronouns demanded by those who identify with these other genders.
In addition to these assaults on conscience, the government launched a series of regulatory attacks on free speech on the internet and is pressuring social media companies, which are already censoring speech that isn’t politically correct, to crack down even more. It is also considering bringing back Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act. This hate speech provision was repealed by the Conservative government in 2013 because it was being used arbitrarily to censor statements that offended some people on the internet.
In what appears to be a first step towards restricting our right to criticize some religions, it adopted M-103, a motion that condemns religious discrimination but only specifically mentions one religion, Islam, and without defining the term “islamophobia.”
Finally, on university campuses, a growing number of faculty and administrators—those who should be fighting for open debate of controversial ideas—have become aggressive advocates for censorship.
History and social scientific research show that freedom of conscience and freedom of expression, when maximally protected, advance the intellectual life of a nation, foster greater ideological diversity and societal understanding, and nurture other freedoms necessary for a successful democracy.
This is why Section 2 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees citizens freedom of conscience and religion, as well as freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication.
What some people find politically incorrect, offensive or even hateful cannot serve as the legal basis for discrimination and censorship. Canadians should be able to enjoy maximum freedom of conscience and expression as guaranteed in Section 2 of the Charter.
As the presumed front runner in the 2022 Conservative Party of Canada leadership election, as well as an individual who claims to support individual liberty and personal freedom, I believe that you should commit to publicly supporting the following policies:
Restrict the definition of hate speech in the Criminal Code to expression which explicitly advocates the use of force against identifiable groups or persons based on protected criteria such as religion, race, ethnicity, sex, or sexual orientation.
Repeal any existing legislation or regulation curtailing free speech on the internet and prevent the reinstatement of Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act. Repeal C-16, M-103, C-10, and C-36. Ensure that Canadians can exercise their freedom of conscience to its fullest extent as it is intended under the Charter and are not discriminated against because of their moral convictions.
Repeal Section 319 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Withhold federal funding from any post-secondary institution shown to be violating the freedom of expression of its students or faculty.
“Rescind the Grant, Withdraw the Bigotted ‘Anti-Hate’ Booklet,” CAFE Tells Somali “Diversity” Minister Ahmed Hussen
Weston, July 5, 2022. Supporters of the Canadian Association for Free Expression picketed the constituency office of “Diversity” Minister Ahmed Hussen, a Somali refugee and dual citizen, this afternoon. They demanded that he rescind a recent grant to the anti-free speech lobby group, the Canadian Anti-Hate Network for the production of a booklet to combat “hate” in the schools but which is really of guidebook for suppressing politically incorrect ideas among students, even urging kids to rat on other kids.
As people from neighbouring stores and houses gathered around and largely agreed with the protesters, an employee locked the office door and fled. CAFE left its press statement and a few placards for the employee when she feels safe to return.
“Diversity” Minister Ahmed Hussen has given the militantly anti-free speech Canadian Anti-Hate Network $268,400 to produce a book for schools to fight hate. The book is sloppy and contains not a word about radical Islam. “Hate” has a specific meaning in the Criminal Code. Virtually none of the groups or views they smear as “hate” has ever been charged let alone found guilty under the law. “Hate” really means views or opinions the Canadian Anti-Hate Network hates. Those include the Red Ensign and Donald Trump.
“It is outrageous Ahmed Hussen who was welcomed as a refugee would so repay Canadians by funding this bigotted attack on free speech,” said CAFE Director Paul Fromm. The booklet lists opinions the Canadian Anti-Hate Network finds unacceptable and urges teachers and students to try to suppress them. For instance, Gay Pride, Black Pride, Latino Pride are all good, but Euro-Pride of White Pride are “hate” and to be banished from schools
“Listing the Red Ensign as a “hate” symbol, the flag Canadian soldiers fought under in two world wars — this included my parents who both served under this flag — is an insult to Canadian history,” Mr. Fromm added/ “We will demand:
1. That the grant be rescinded
2. That the booklet be withdrawn and not distributed to educators
3. That the minister apologize for the smear against the Red Ensign that was our country’s flag. Whether this smear was made out of ignorance or malice toward Old Stock Canadians, HOW DARE HE?’ Mr. Fromm concluded
The crest on Hussen’s sign (the crest of Canada) is the SAME crest on the Red Ensign he and the anti-free speech Canadian Anti-Hate Network say is a “hate symbol”.
