Paul Fromm Interviewed by James Edwards for American Free Press
What follows is an interview conducted by James Edwards with Paul Fromm, Director of the Canadian Association for Free Expression. It was originally published by the American Free Press.
James Edwards: As one of Canada’s most internationally well-known dissident activists, you have spent a lifetime fighting at the intersection of free speech and immigration reform. How did you first arrive at this destination?
Paul Fromm: Forty years ago, I saw planned massive Third World immigration as a policy to replace Canada’s European founding/settler people. In 1965, just as immigration laws were changing in Canada and the United States, the Canadian government began to consider “anti-hate” legislation. I could see that, among other things, as Canadians woke up to what was being done to them, it would be used to quell or silence opposition to the great replacement. Thus, for over 20 years, I’ve introduced myself to audiences as being about free speech and immigration: not enough free speech and too much immigration. The Canadian Jewish Congress had lobbied Ottawa for several decades for a “hate law”; that is legislation, to mute or silence criticism of them. By 1965, their lobbying power pushed then Prime Minister Lester Pearson to strike a Royal Commission to inquire into “hate” propaganda. It was stacked so that it would deliver the desired opinion. Its chairman was Dean Maxwell Cohen of McGill University Law School, a former head of the Canadian Jewish Congress, and Saul Hayes, also a former head of the Canadian Jewish Congress. A third member of the seven-man Royal Commission was a then-obscure leftist professor from Montreal, Pierre Elliott Trudeau, an admirer of both Mao and Castro, who would become Prime Minister in 1968. In 1965, the newly created Canadian Nazi Party gained a lot of headlines and short-lived notoriety. It was heavily influenced by operatives from the Canadian Jewish Congress. The Cohen Commission had trouble finding much “hate propaganda” in Canada. So, the sudden appearance of a “Nazi” party with young Canadians, not old European immigrants, was convenient to provide a “justification” for limiting free speech. The Cohen Commission’s report provided the outline of what would become the “hate law” (Sec. 318 & 319) of the Criminal Code which would be introduced as legislation by Pierre Trudeau and passed into law in 1971.
Edwards: A particularly alarming and Orwellian piece of legislation has been proposed in Canada. What is the so-called Online Harms Bill?
Fromm: John Carpay, Director of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, calls this proposed law “a full-on frontal assault on free expression, the worst in Canadian history. Full stop.” Current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has longed to further censor the Internet. He blamed the Internet as a source of misinformation. He was outraged at the Trucker’s Freedom Convoy protest which lasted for three weeks in Ottawa in early 2022. The Liberal elite despises working class Canadians and describes White working-class men and women as “deplorables”, backward, bigoted ignorant people. That these much-despised people organized such a formidable protest drove the globalist elite crazy. They invoked the Emergencies Act (a war measures act) piece of legislation which stripped people of their civil rights and allowed the tyrants to freeze bank accounts. Trudeau saw that much of the organizing occurred over the Internet. Also, both the Zionist lobby and the increasingly shrill Moslem lobby are complaining of “hate” on the Internet. The Online Harms bill seeks to make Internet service providers responsible for censoring people. The Act adds Stalinist era punishments for online “hate”. In Stalin’s Soviet Union anti-semitism was punishable by death. Canada pretends to be more civilized. So, advocacy of “genocide” – whatever that is – can get you up to life imprisonment for mere words! Also, any branch of the Criminal Code, say assault, if motivated by hate against a privileged group (but not Whites), religion (but not Christianity), sex, or sexual orientation can increase the sentence to up to life in prison.
Edwards: This bill has received global attention and a significant amount of pushback. Has this surprised you and, in your opinion, how likely is it that this might become law?
Fromm: International attention is welcome. Many foreigners are surprised how, under Trudeau, who like his father also admires Red China, Canada has become such a totalitarian state. The likelihood of passage is a good question. Groups like my own Canadian Association for Free Expression, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association are determined to fight it right from the get-go. The Parliamentary agenda is crowded, and the hope is that, if we can alert enough freedom-minded Canadians, the bill may never get to a vote.
Edwards: In what ways would this potential law further stifle free speech and expression in Canada?
Fromm: Well, a person who fears that another person may commit a “hate crime” can go before a judge and seek an order that could force house arrest, the wearing of an electronic bracelet, prohibition of drugs or alcohol, forced testing for such substances, and restriction on movement. This would all be preemptive. We know the anti-Whites portray themselves as endlessly afraid and vulnerable. This could result in massive abuse of our liberties. In addition to the Criminal Code provisions, the Canadian Human Rights Commission could now receive complaints about online expressions of “hate” as being a discriminatory practice. At human rights tribunals, really kangaroo courts, where the appointed member (judge) is chosen for a special sensitivity to human rights (they don’t include freedom of speech), and the truth is no defense, the victim has little chance. Also, if the accuser is fearful of retaliation, his/her/its identity may be kept secret from the defendant and the press. In other words, a millennium of Anglo-Saxon individual rights – in this case, the defendant’s right to face his accuser – would be tossed out the window.
Edwards: How would you compare punishment for so-called “hate speech” violations in the United States and Canada, and even European nations like the United Kingdom and Germany, where dissidents receive harsh prison sentences for having politically incorrect points of view?
Fromm: When it comes to speech, America is still a largely free country in terms of legal sanctions. Canada is now attempting to join wretched thought-control regimes like Germany in its eagerness to jail dissidents.
Edwards: Immigration is your other signature issue. Compared to the United States, how advanced has the Great Replacement become in Canada?
Fromm: America is worse off than Canada but we’re catching up. Our population is still 78% White, but massive Third World immigration engineered and enabled from the top is replacing us fast. Toronto, 98% White in 1960, is now majority Third World, as is Vancouver. This is the result of a cold-blooded and deliberate policy of replacement, collaborated in by all political parties except the populist People’s Party of Canada, and by big businesses and banks which have eagerly adopted the anti-White policies of diversity (fewer Whites hired), equity (inferior results and mediocrity), and inclusion (but not of White Christians).
Edwards: What interests drive the open border policies of the United States and Canada?
Fromm: There are several motives. One cabal wants to see Whites replaced. Greedy businessmen always bemoan a labor shortage. They mean a cheap labor shortage. They don’t care whether the potential worker is legal, illegal, Black, Yellow, or Purple, as long as he’s cheap.
Edwards: Though 90% of the population lives within an hour of the border, to many Americans, Canada still appears to be the Great White North. Does homogeneity exist in some of the more remote provinces of your expansive continent more so than in places like multicultural Toronto?
Fromm: Rural areas and small towns are still relatively White, especially in Quebec and the Maritimes. Most of the Third Worlders flock to the big cities – Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Hamilton, Calgary, and Edmonton.
Edwards: I read that the Canadian courts recently ruled that many of the overreaches during the Covid-era were unconstitutional. What can you tell us about that?
Fromm: Yes, in a stunning pro-freedom ruling, the Federal Court ruled that many of the federal government’s COVID restrictions were a violation of individual rights.
Edwards: As an avid observer of American politics, what are your thoughts on the upcoming elections in the United States?
Fromm: I pray for the election of Donald Trump to make America great again. I hope he has learned from his first term the bitter opposition and vile tactics of the deep state and will move swiftly and with determination to build that wall and deport, as Dwight Eisenhower did, millions of illegal aliens.

This week David Lindsay, co-founder of Common Law Education and Rights (CLEAR), and a regular guest on the Empower Hour, joins Tanya to discuss his personal legal journey in defending himself against fundamentally corrupt government institutions – Interior Health and the City of Kelowna – and their attempts to incarcerate him. On April 12, 2024 at the BC Provincial Court in Kelowna David will be at his sentencing hearing for an alleged assault that took place on August 19, 2021. David is facing spuriously devised assault charges. His crime? Exercising his right of entry to a government building which is open to the public.

As you can see from the video there was no assault committed by David. The so-called victim is Greg Smith (the manager of security for the building leased by Interior Health), who was accompanied by two other security guards. The video shows Greg Smith using his upper torso to physically block David’s right of entry. If this is what qualifies for assault nowadays then it is very evident that Greg Smith is the one who committed the actual assault. These security guards present were not licensed to use force under these circumstances.
Greg Smith has a proven history of misrepresentation to the police and the court. Smith previously stated that David caused a disturbance on August 11, 2021, which Smith used to justify his suspension of David’s right of future access to the public Interior Health reception area. Here is a video which not only confirms that there was no disturbance, but also that Smith intentionally misrepresented the situation when he claimed there was.
In regard to the situation with the City of Kelowna, David has been embroiled in a battle in the courts to preserve the freedom to maintain public assemblies. This ongoing legal controversy could set a precedent nationwide that will affect every citizen’s right to publicly oppose government overreach. David is on the front-line effectively fighting for every Canadian’s fundamental freedoms. Know Your Rights and How to Assert Them
In the video above, David Lindsay and Tanya discuss Canadian’s guaranteed rights and how to assert them confidently and knowledgeably when approached by law enforcement or other officials. They also discuss the origins and Constitutional rights of people to practice peaceful civil disobedience.
Historically, most restrictions or prohibitions on freedom of expression originated in the civil torts of libel, defamation and slander, and a few criminal offences such as libel as well. Today, governments all over Canada are weaponizing the Criminal Code and municipal bylaws to prohibit Canadians from expressing themselves on issues of prime importance to us – our Christian heritage and our culture.
On the upcoming Empower Hour, David will advise how various governments are doing this, what to watch out for, and how they are attacking freedom activists with falsified charges and civil legal actions in order to prohibit freedom of expression under multiple guises such as public safety, enjoyment, and not wishing to hurt someone else’s feelings, aka hate laws.
What it all boils down to, if our socialist and communist governments have their way, is that if you exercise your freedom of expression and speak out for what is right and honourable, you could be charged.

Sadly, we have lost a great thinker, writer, teacher, courageous truth-teller, and brave warrior who always fought for what is right. Arthur Topham passed on after an illness with cancer on the 23rd of March, 2024 in Quesnel, BC. He was 77 years old.
Many people will remember Arthur through his brilliant writing and creation of memes and articles in the Radical Press. This began in 1998 as a print publication called The Radical with a subtitle “Digging to the root of the issues”, and a few years later he switched from print to solely online production. The subtitle was a direct reference to the etymology of the word “radical” – the root. Digging to the root of the issues was what Arthur Topham did brilliantly. He had long been an activist who wrote frequent letters to political figures and to editors of newspapers, and over the years, as he dug down deep to learn about true history, his writings became ever more dangerous to the “establishment”. There were complaints from Jews about the contents of his Radical Press website, and a dozen or more years of legal harassment, persecution and conviction followed.
I (Monika Schaefer) was first introduced to Arthur Topham in about 2013, and I became an avid reader of his Radical Press on-line publication. In subsequent years Arthur published several articles in which he featured contents from me. Later when I was thrown in jail, Arthur worked tirelessly to publicize my case. He created memes and posters, he informed the public about whom they could write letters to on my behalf, and he himself wrote excellent letters pushing for my release. He was so effective in fighting for me, in fact, that at some point he was accused of breeching his own sentencing conditions which resulted in more years of legal harassment for him.
This was how Arthur finished one of his emails to me a number of years back, before my incarceration. I include it here as a message of inspiration to all of us.
“Be strong my friend and keep on loving, living, making music and speaking the truth! And may God protect you always. (My theme has always been Psalm 23 since I began this quest and I find great comfort in it. The table is just about prepared!)

Political Prisoner Bill Whatcott in Ontario to Face Re-trial On Hate Law Charges From Criticizing the LGBTQ Privileged People

Dear Friends,
I am now living in Toronto and preparing for my second so-called “hate crime” trial, having been acquitted the first time. Ontario’s courts threw out 125 cases last year, including a sexual assault, a murder and attempted murder, and all sorts of lesser crimes due to a lack of resources to try them in a timely manner. But they found the resources to not only prosecute me and take me to trial once for my Gospel flyer but to also appeal my acquittal and try me again. The Ontario Court of Appeals has expressed concerns about timely prosecutions and lack of court resources, but agreed with the Attorney General of Ontario that I should go on trial again even though my “crime” is delivering a Gospel flyer (that is pretty benign, but that I am not allowed to show you) at a homosexual parade full of rude behaviour and is now eight years old. The Court of Appeals reasoning for this second trial is because the first trial didn’t benefit from the testimony of homosexual academic Nick Mule’ whose expertise seems to be kink and queering social work and who argued in his taxpayer funded submission to the court that I committed microgressions against the homosexual pride participants in 2016. These microagressions apparently lead to “minority stress” which if not prosecuted will lead to poor health outcomes for those who read my flyer.
One thing I note about homosexual activists like Mule’, they seem loathe accepting responsibility for the harms caused to themselves and their buddies by their risky sexual appetites and in this case would rather blame their maladies on my Gospel flyer that advised them to repent and keep their pants up. Unfortunately, rather than actually take my advice and keep their pants up, which would no doubt eliminate the harms I warned them about, anal warts, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis, etc…… they prefer to go through another trial to get me in jail, not content with the results of their $104 million class action lawsuit and first criminal trial.
Anyways, the above picture of Amethyst Harbour was taken by me on March 19th, the second day after my arrival in Ontario. The temperature was a frosty -5 Celsius. The harbour is still frozen, the ground was covered in snow and the snow fall the following day was forecasted to be 15 centimetres. As I looked at this beautiful, ice covered harbour leading to Lake Superior, I reflected on the taxpayer funded CBC’s hyperbolic screaming that the “world is on fire” (they showed me a picture in August of a wildfire in Greece as proof the world was on fire) and they warned us that we clearly were all going to burn to death if we didn’t do something (pay carbon taxes and ruin our energy industry) to mitigate Canada’s production of C02, about 1% of the world’s total. I note CO2 was once known as plant food in my grade 8 science class and was considered beneficial to life.
CBC’s picture of a wildfire was somewhat misleading and had my Prosecutor been nitpicking the CBC’s hyperbole, they might have gotten convicted, as the CBC would have lacked truth as a defence. When the wildfires in Greece were burning, the world was not on fire. In actual fact a small percentage of Greece was on fire, 174,000 hectares to be precise, which in reality is under 2% of Greece. For Greece (a geographically small country) the wildfire was pretty nasty but not unheard of. Last year’s wildfire was definitely not the “world on fire.” I note you pay $1.5 billion annually for this fearmongering rubbish that passes for news.
My picture of anal warts shared at the Toronto unGodly pride parade by contrast is a real concern for homosexuals attending the parade. My stats that over 60% of HIV – homosexuals and over 90% of HIV+ homosexuals have HPV of the rectum was found to be true. While I am facing a second criminal trial and the Crown is now asking 6-12 months in jail (they no longer are asking for 18 months) for my sharing of accurate information, I note I gave my accurate information to homosexual Pride attendees free of charge. CBC execs on the other hand receive hefty taxpayer funded paychecks and generous bonuses for sharing misinformation.
Anyways, this picture is of me with some good friends on Saturday in chilly +2 celsius Toronto, four years into the city’s self declared “climate emergency.” The fellow behind me spent time in jail for beating up a number of Antifa thugs in a Hamilton park who attacked another friend of mine Phil Thomas. During the assault Phil was completely non-violent. He was peacefully preaching in the park against unGodly homosexual pride. Phil’s face was bloodied, but he did not retaliate when punched multiple times by several Antifa thugs, rather he continued to preach while receiving blows. The fellow behind me on the other hand got upset when he saw Phil getting punched and grabbed a helmet and literally clobbered four or five Antifa thugs single handedly. He went to jail for quite awhile, but strangely no one from Antifa ever gets arrested, charged, or incarcerated in Canada though they initiate roughly 100% of the violent confrontations they are involved in.
The bald fellow to my right I met for the first time. I truly enjoyed his company. I discovered he was a former sodomite who has come to Christ. He is now living with my other two friends. The other fellow with the beard to my right is a courageous street preacher who was actually preaching with a group of Christians at the 2016 Toronto unGodly pride parade when I was there. They were abused by homosexual pride attendees for boldly preaching the Gospel, but were not criminally charged like me.
My next court date is Monday, April 8, at 9:00 am. I am scheduled to appear in what is known as “Practice Court.” I assume “Practice Court” is a division of the Ontario Superior Court and should be at 330 University Ave in Downtown Toronto. There will likely be a zoom link too.
Earlier today I talked with legal aid. They are requesting I send them disclosure as they decide whether or not I will be able to have legal representation at my trial. If I get legal aid a fine lady by the name of Mindy who worked with Mr. John Rosen and has her own lawfirm has agreed to represent me. If I don’t get legal aid, God might yet provide a Christian lawyer pro-bono, I have no idea who that lawyer would be, but God has done that in times past, or I may go to court with the assistance of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and represent myself.

At this point in time I am not raising money for a lawyer as it is unlikely I could ever raise anything close to the $100,000 needed for another trial and it makes more sense to apply for legal aid and failing that self represent. However, my life is still costing money, especially in Toronto and had to quit the job I had to come here and deal with this second trial. April 12, 2024 9:30 a.m. — Sentencing hearing
This is the sentencing hearing for David Lindsay, on falsified assault charges. David Grabavac, the Criminal Persecutor in this case, is unbelievably seeking two years in jail, three years probation, a weapons ban and DNA sample.
From those who have seen the video, this is nothing more than political harassment and intimidation by Mr. Grabavac who is abusing his powers and should be removed from the office immediately.
Judge Heinrichs, who to this time has been completely biased in favour of the Crown, will be present. Without giving away details at this point, the Crown’s strategy is to again, attempt to have me banned from parks and schools in Kelowna in their hopes that by so doing, no more rallies will take place. The Crown is trying every civil and criminal method possible to achieve this objective.

In the B.C. Supreme Court on Jan. 29, 2024, I appeared before Justice Weatherill. I was ordered to file my Constitutional Challenge to the payment of transcripts fees and serve them on the AG of Canada and BC, by April 5, 2024. Next hearing date is simply to see how to proceed with the appeal after that.
The first batch of transcripts has arrived, thank you so very kindly to all those who have supported obtaining them. Two more days remain to be obtained for this appeal to be heard, on the delay issue only.

My SLAPP application to strike the City of Kelowna’s Petition to ban our rallies, was originally set for the week of Feb. 20, 2024, however the schedulers were unable to find a judge. Maybe they are looking for a specific NDP supporting judge and couldn’t fine one. Whatever the reason, it is now put over to the week of June 17, 2024. I will get notified of the specific date that week, on Friday, June 14, including the name of the judge.

Violating every principle of our law, the BC Gov’t in March 2023, passed a law which compels you to prove where you got the money for your assets, or the Gov’t will steal it from you. Now. two people are challenging this. We will get these challenges shortly and post them on our website for you.
Media Correction:
Recently, Kelowna was blessed to have our local Town Hall meeting on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Lindsay Gabelhouse put forth an incredibly professional moderating. The two speakers, Lloyd Manchester and Dr. Hsaing were both very knowledgeable and professional in their presentations. For the hundreds of people present, it was an awesome presentation of facts in relation to new legislation by the BC NDP (Communist Party).
No one from the media replied to Lindsay’s request for media reporters to identify themselves. Yet, InfoNews reporter Marshall Jones was there and published a report on Friday.
As with all subsidized Kelowna media, Jones’ report was a scathing and negatively biased diatribe against anyone opposing the corrupt Gov’t narrative. It matters not how professional and correct the individuals are in their opposition to the Gov’t, the media is in attack mode in every article.
As appears to be their want, once again reference was made by Jones to my presence at this Town Hall, falsely claiming, as does Castanet (BC’s answer to the National Inquirer), that I am a member of the Freeman-on-the-Land (FOTL) organization. This is not the first time such allegations have been made.
I wish to clear this up for everyone.
I am not a member of this organization. I have never been a member of FOTL. I have never attended any of their in person or zoom meetings. I have never promoted or supported them or their ideologies and platforms. In short, I have no direct or indirect association with FOTL and never had, ever.
All of us need to put these reporters on notice every time they make false allegations against us. My notice is set out below. If you are subject to false information in the media, contact the reporter and demand a retraction and an apology.

In your recent attack against those who believe in freedom and gov’t accountability, you make reference to my presence at the recent Kelowna Town Hall event, without reason as I never talked to you. As usual with Kelowna’s Socialist reporters, no attempt was made by yourself to verify the accuracy of your claims. I wish to clarify your errors.
I am not a member of this organization called Freeman-on-the-Land (FOTL.) I have never been a member of FOTL. I have never attended any of their in person or zoom meetings. I have never spoken at any of their events. I have never promoted or supported them or their ideologies and platforms. In short, I have no direct or indirect association nor contact with FOTL or any other members or supporters, and never have, ever. That there may be an overlap of beliefs as to our rights and freedoms, does not ipso facto make me a FOTL member or supporter, now or historically.
I am demanding you print an immediate retraction with respect to your false allegations against me in this regard.
Considering the negative judicial, media and public attention this organization is the recipient of, your false allegation that I am or was part of this organization, is libelous and further intended to lower my standing, good name and reputation.
I notice that despite your attack on me, you fail to mention my name helping a long time and blind, freedom supporter to ask her question and express her concerns to the panel. Your only objective was to portray me in a negative light, and fail to tell the public all the positive actions I have taken, most of which you know nothing about as none of you reporters ever bother to seek out my position and supporting materials.
Everything I have said since the beginning of the COVID CON has or is coming true. The PCR Test, which I have exposed as far back as early summer of 2020 as being a fraud, is now being recognized as not the gold standard of COVID-19 testing, but rather, fool’s gold – as admitted by its inventor Kari Mullis, who just happened to die six months prior to the alleged outset of COVID-19. But you’re a coincidence theorist correct? It was just a coincidence the inventor of this test and Nobel Prize Winner for so doing, died before COVID so he could not publicly expose the fact that PCR cannot detect live viral infections, nor determine if you are at risk to transmit it to anyone.
All our studies and reports, including having a court recognized expert on the nature, types and effectiveness of masks against viruses, showing that masks are completely ineffective against preventing viral transmission, whether in aerosol form or droplets. Why were there never any bio-hazard disposal bins at hospitals for used masks, instead of piling them overflowing the open garbage cans on the floor? If COVID was so dangerous, clearly and literally throwing used masks into an open pit garbage can, will result in billions of airborne viruses floating throughout the hospital.
Bonnie Henry’s (you’ll notice I don’t recognize her as a doctor – she has violated her Oath and should be in jail) completely falsified COVID-19 statistics, using the Case Fatality Rate instead of the much more accurate Infection Fatality Rate, which more accurately confirmed COVID-19 fatality rates were on par with the regular flu virus. All the injuries and deaths associated with the experimental injections (how does it feel to be the guinea pig?) were falsely represented as being much lower than actual figures. This to say nothing of the Constitutional rights and freedoms violations based on a false pandemic. Only people with no ability to think critically or who have been compromised, can maintain a COVID-19 pandemic where the Gov’t claims, for the first time in history that for two years there were no recorded cases of the flu. This is simply not possible and is self-evident of statistical manipulation of flu cases as being COVID-19.
Despite having up to almost 2000 people at times to our rallies, there has never been any ‘super-spreader’ event, where suddenly hospitals were overwhelmed with COVID infections immediately after one of our rallies, despite all the hugging, refusal to social distance and other natural human social activities.
Then again, as Rob Gibson from Castanet informed me in 2020, you were all contacted by Gov’t officials in Victoria, and ordered that no one with opposing views on COVID-19 was to be given “a platform” in the media. I guess your subsidies are just too valuable to print the truth.
There are four types of people – those who love rights and freedoms and those who love taking them away – directly or indirectly through support such as yours in the Socialist media. Those who think the government is out for their best interests, and those people who think.
I remind you that our law is based on the supremacy of the individual, not the collective. If you believe in the latter, I suggest you leave my once great country and go live in China or Russia, or even North Korea, where such beliefs are more readily appreciated.
In the meantime, as long as you are in Canada, and especially here in B.C., I demand you retract your patently false allegations against me. Your research will fail to show anything that I have been a member or supporter of the Freeman-on-the-Land organization. And do not repeat these false allegations in the future. Your false claim on your website of “meeting the highest standard of journalism.”, is clearly false as well. This highest standard of journalism requires full investigations of both sides of an issue, not simply being a Gov’t Socialist puppet.

Canada to Sentence Citizens to ‘Life Imprisonment’ for ‘Hate’

The Canadian government is rapidly advancing plans to usher in full-blown tyranny and will soon begin sentencing citizens to life in prison if they are found guilty of committing the “crime” of so-called “hate”. Many are likening the new laws to George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984” as Canada will soon start handing out severe penalties for wrongthink. The push for life sentences is part of “liberal” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s “anti-hate” legislation.
The shocking new law, buried in bill C-63, states:
Everyone who commits an offense under this act or any other act of Parliament, if the commission of the offense is motivated by hatred based on race, national or ethnic origin, language, color, religion, sex, age, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation or gender identity or expression, is guilty of an indictable offense and liable to imprisonment for life.
However, the bill only gets worse the further you read.
The new law will also offer cash bribes to members of the public “anonymously” snitch on their fellow citizens for committing “hate.”
The bill states:
It [C-63 bill] allows someone to make a complaint of a discrimination anonymously … if that hateful complaint is found legit, a maximum of 20,000 [Canadian] dollars goes to that person.
Meanwhile, similar legislation to define and crack down on in-person and online “hate” is being pushed across Europe.
Just recently, in Belgium, former Flemish parliamentarian Dries Van Langenhove was sentenced to one year in prison. The reason for this sentence was for sharing supposedly “racist memes” in a private group chat.
The new law from Canada comes as Trudeau’s World Economic Forum-controlled administration seeks to rapidly advance the nation’s descent into globalist tyranny. The government has been pushing several new laws that seek to strip the public of their freedoms. As Slay News reported, among the draconian new laws are powers that allow authorities to begin jailing citizens who “might” commit a crime.
Trudeau’s government is pushing for the new “pre-crime” authority which officials claim will help to tackle so-called “hate crimes.” The new powers are buried in Trudeau’s “Online Harms Bill,” (Bill C-63) which is expected to soon be signed into law, the Daily Telegraph reports.The “Online Harms Bill” is designed to crack down on any opposition to the “progressive” agenda of Trudeau’s ruling Liberal Party. One of the measures within the bill would give judges the power to imprison individuals if they believe they “might” commit a crime in the future.
Meanwhile, the government is also pushing new laws that seek to criminalize Christianity, as Slay News recently reported. Trudeau’s administration is planning to make Bible reading and prayer considered “hate speech” – a “crime” punishable with prison time. Under Trudeau, a WEF Young Global Leader, the government is introducing an amendment to the Criminal Code. The amendment could see believers face jail time for expressing historic Christian teachings. The legislation, Bill C-367, will make it illegal to reiterate certain parts of the Bible.
By stripping away the “good faith” defense, the government will be able to prosecute Christians for what is deemed by the globalist state as “hate speech.” Traditional Christian practices such as celebrating Christmas or attending church service will be considered crimes that carry severe penalties.
Additionally, Slay News recently reported globalist lawmakers in Canada are pushing a disturbing new piece of legislation that seeks to jail members of the public who question the “Net Zero” agenda of the unelected WEF. The push aims to tackle so-called “climate skepticism” as governments around the world scramble to meet the WEF’s “Net Zero” goals. The legislation, Bill C-372, was introduced by Canada’s left-wing socialist New Democratic Party (NDP).
Under the bill, the promotion of fossil fuel use will be outlawed with restrictions similar to tobacco advertising applied. Those who speak in favor of fossil fuels, or criticize plans to eliminate them, will face massive fines and possible prison time.
The “anti-hate” laws are so extreme that even radical leftists are calling out the government over the push. The environmental activist, feminist, and author, Margaret Atwood slammed the government’s “Online Harms Bill” in a social media post.
Atwood called the bill “Trudeau’s Orwellian online harms bill” and stated “If this account of the bill is true, it’s Lettres de Cachet all over again,” referring to letters signed by the King of France granting him absolute authority. On Tuesday, Canadian psychologist Jordan Pederson, who’s already expressed shock and disapproval at the bill, responded to Atwood’s comments, stating:
“If even the mother of the progressive feminists in Canada thinks that Bill C-63 is dangerous then perhaps the rest of us might think twice as well.”
