Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is giving your money to Volkswagen.   He raised your taxes and now he’s writing Volkswagen a $13-billion cheque. That’s wrong and you need to fight back. The government shouldn’t give your tax dollars to any business. But the Volkswagen deal is especially bad. Trudeau gave Volkswagen $13 billion to build a $7-billion electric vehicle battery factory. WORTH A LOOK       STEP 22 – SUPPORT THE ‘WE ARE READY’ GLOBAL EVENT This is unlike any other event, it’s not a protest…it’s a DISPLAY OF COLLECTIVE STRENGTH. There are already over 30 events planned worldwide. From small towns to capital cities…multiple events are being added daily. This event is a great opportunity to connect with local like-minded people by utilizing the global promotion they’re already doing. Some organisers are hosting a rally, some are having a casual picnic or market. Some have organised swap meets…it doesn’t matter what you do as long as you bring people together and empower them with the message…”we are ready”. A great suggestion is to collect email addresses from attendees on the day. That way you can keep in touch with them and create a local community. You can organise weekly coffee catch-ups or walks and the group can be there to support each other when/if things get tough. Dear Editor:   I recently picked up a brochure from Penticton City Hall’s front desk. It’s called Reimagine Northern Gateway, and is the plan to establish the city’s first 15-minute neighborhood. There are going to be more?   Funny, we were told at the March open house that 15-minute cities wouldn’t happen here in our lifetime, calling it a neighbourhood doesn’t disguise the agenda. And greater Penticton is already less than a 15- minute drive to anywhere in the city.   There were committees in the recent past that applied to Infrastructure Canada, apparently on behalf of the people of Penticton, to structure our city to be a SMART city, look it up, also C40. This entails using taxpayer dollars to develop our city to be a utopia where no one owns cars or travels, except by walking, biking, riding the bus. The new lake-to-lake bike lane is finished, what’s on the agenda now is to eliminate car use by installing concrete barricades to make vehicle use a lot less handy.   RNG brochure details reducing traffic for “active transportation: aka walk, bike? Building more commercial space? Meanwhile the downtown is getting more and more vacant commercial space?   More indoor ice surfaces, are the ones we have over-utilized?   The City is acquiring land in the area, and spending over $200 million into SOEC campus, is this why taxes are going up?   We have a $10 million, or more, electric reserve, which the city is “borrowing” from, for the unasked for, by the people, bike lanes.   Are we being channeled into a controlled environment without our permission?   Teri McKnight  image.png

We are truly living in crazy times. My friends at the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition have reported disturbing recommendations from the Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying (AMAD) that were presented to the House of Commons on February 15, 2023.

AMAD recommended an amendment to the Criminal Code of Canada that would extend euthanasia to “mature” minors! Sign and tell Justice Minister David Lametti and the Government of Canada it is WRONG TO EUTHANIZE CHILDREN. Unfortunately, AMAD has more terrible recommendations. Another tabled recommendation stated that the Government of Canada makes child euthanasia accessible without parental consent. It goes even further, declaring that if the parents of a child, who wants euthanasia say “No!” but the child has “the requisite decision-making capacity,” the child’s request for euthanasia would override their parents’ consent and concern for their son or daughter. These amendments imply that parents and guardians may not be alerted in the decision to administer assisted suicide to their child, who is determined “capable of decision-making.” Please sign and stop this insidious agenda towards legally murdering innocent children. Where did these crazy and reckless recommendations come from?

They are based on an article titled “Medical Assistance in Dying at a paediatric hospital,” published in The Journal of Medical Ethics. The paper originated from a committee at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. This committee actively investigated how to best implement euthanasia for children without the knowledge or consent of their parents. With your help, we can take a stand and ensure child euthanasia remains illegal here in Canada. Sign now to STOP this madness and protect our most vulnerable, including the children at Sick Kids.
  The WHO is dangerously close to gaining new, legally binding powers that threaten our civil liberties and national sovereignty. The so-called “Pandemic Treaty” would centralize global governance, erode individual freedoms, and undermine effective health policies. We must act now to protect our rights and personal autonomy! In case you missed the rally last Sunday… Updates on the following initiatives:

1.     Recall David Eby – Laureen, Derrick & Wayne, just back from another trip to help out with the Recall David Eby campaign, left us with great tips:

a.    Handing out materials at elementary schools can be effective if done at the end of the school day when parents come to pick up their children.

b.    Remember, regardless of the final count of votes to recall David Eby, there are many thousands of people who now know about Bill 36, most of whom are shocked and upset and will be watching our politicians (especially David Eby) more closely.

c.     There has already been another attempt to recall one of our MLAs, and another recall in the Prince George area is simply waiting for the go-ahead to launch their Recall campaign.

2.     Penticton Council Open House – Elsie shared her experience there.

a.     15 minutes cities: She asked the Mayor “What about these 15-minute cities?” to which he responded, “That will never happen here!”. So, what about that rumour that Penticton has already received a huge hunk of change to focus on that very project?

b.     Penticton Bike Lanes: Three of the councillors are against the bike lane plans but cannot do much about it because they are still required to spend the grant money provided to complete the project. Sounds like a couple of gotchas to me.

3.     Doctors’ Packages – Shar and Mary Lou shared tips from handing out 11 Doctors’ packages to Pharmacists on Friday. A fresh supply of 100 packages will be picked up for us to go out again this week. Woohoo! Eleven were delivered for Pharmacists last Friday in less than two hours!

4.     Steve’s Cash is King project will continue for at least another week – dropping off posters for merchants to use to encourage the use of cash in their stores. Bring your results to the next rally for a draw prize draw.

R v David Lindsay s. 266 Criminal Code Assault From David Lindsay: After an incredible two days in court March 1st and 2nd, everyone finally got to see what the fuss is all about – and the shock even in the media was visible everywhere in the courtroom. Even opposition media, who came out in droves hoping to see some incredible fight scene to label me with, were amazed and dismayed at what truly occurred. The video, taken by one of our loyal supporters clearly showed that THEY (security guards) pushed into David, not the reverse. And more evidence is yet to come. Two more security guards, including a Paladin security official and an IH official, are yet to come, as well as at least three police officers, and defence witnesses. The amount of money being spent on this case truly shows that it is political in nature – not criminal.   He sends a big Thank You to all the AMAZING Freedom Fighters that took the time to come out and show their support. You don’t have to close your other accounts straight away. Just start the migrating process until your old account is no longer needed.

Reignite Freedom and The Global Walkout have led by example and migrated all our accounts to Protonmail ahead of this step so we could verify its usability. We aren’t going to lie to you, there are some aspects that might take some getting used to. However, the feeling of security outweighs ANY inconveniences we encountered.

ACTIONS OF THE WEEK ·      Support the National Citizen’s Led Inquiry  Support for the National Citizens’ Inquiry (NCI) is increasing amongst Canadians. Over 35,000Canadians have signed the petition in support of a truly independent public inquiry into all federal and provincial COVID-19 policies. First of all, please sign that petition yourself. There is no doubt that this inquiry is going to make history. Your support is needed to make the NCI a success. ·    STEP 14 – DIGITAL ID AWARENESS

You’ve all done an amazing job using cash (see step one here) and raising awareness of the importance of keeping cash alive and dialing back the digital systems. Don’t stop now.

Now we need to take it a step further and start educating as many people as we can about the dangers of a Digital ID and Digital currencies, that includes CBDCs (central bank digital currencies).

First, watch the new documentary called State of Control so that you can answer people’s questions. Then, download and print the pamphlet we’ve made (see below). Go for a walk with your family and friends and drop them into letterboxes, give them out at work, to the cashiers and parents at school drop-off. Give them to as many people as you can.

This is so critical because when the implementation of these things begins to happen, it might be too late to educate others. You’ve got to start now. The more people we can reach now, the more effective our campaigns will be to stop their agenda. Think of this exercise as rallying the troops and getting them ready to pushback against the global digital ID and digital currencies when the time comes.

This will be the last step for 2022. We will start with step 15 on January 8th, 2023.

BC Government Trickery Passes Bills with No Time for Discussion

·       Bill 36 (BC) – (Medical Professions and Occupations Act) and Bill 44 (Building and Strata Statures Amendment Act) were both passed in the BC Legislature last week, after the government called a one-week pause, prior to intruding these two acts and others this past week and calling for immediate Closure. No time for the opposition to even read and comment on these contentious bills, and no time allowed for the normal discussion in the legislature.

·       Thank you to those who wrote their MLAs to try and prevent this. The majority party ruled with an iron fist.

Reignite Freedom – Step #4 – SUPPORTING SMALLER BANKS

Home

The fourth step of the global walkout is to move as many accounts as you can to a union or local bank. Use these new accounts for your savings and transactions. If you run a business, move your business accounts as well and start paying wages from there. If you have debts with larger banks, look into transferring your debt as well.

We understand that this step is a hard one and might be impossible for some people to achieve this right away. You might have loans with big banks which you can’t move. 

The GLOBAL WALKOUT is always voluntary…just do what you can to the limit you are comfortable with.

Even if you have debts with large banks, you might be able to open a savings or transaction account with a smaller bank and transfer money into your loans from there.

Even if you can’t participate fully in this step, it will raise awareness of the financial control that we are currently under. We can work towards disconnecting from the larger banks over time.

BELOW, YOU’LL FIND A PRINTOUT TO HELP YOU START A CONVERSATION WITH THE BANK YOU’RE LEAVING AND THE ONE YOU’RE JOINING

How do I move my accounts?

  • This is a global movement. We are unable to research local banks in every country. You will have to research it yourself. Feel free to go to our Facebook page or telegram channel and offer suggestions so other people in your country can see them.
  • It’s important to research if the small bank is associated with a larger one. Try to find one that is as independent as possible.
  • We understand that this is a big ask and will take hours of appointments and planning. The only way to effectively push back against financial tyranny is to walk the walk J Try to open your new accounts in person so you can explain the global walkout and WHY you are putting in the effort to change your accounts.
  • Once you choose a new bank, open the new accounts and simply transfer your funds across. Be sure to CLOSE your old accounts. It would be ideal that you book an appointment so you can tell them WHY you are leaving. It will be a great way to start the conversation.
  • As mentioned above, we do not have the resources to give specific suggestions for each country, it is your choice and responsibility.

Why bother moving your bank accounts to a smaller bank?

  • Smaller banks support local family-run businesses more. If you invest your money in them, you are helping your local economy overall.
  • If enough people take their money away from the big banks, they will have less control.
  • Sometimes, smaller banks are less controlled by big corporations and the government.
  • We are unsure what the future holds. We know that the globalists are trying to bring in a digital ID and a cashless society. This step alone will not prevent this, but it’s a start.

Reignite Freedom – Step #4 – SUPPORTING SMALLER BANKS

Home

The fourth step of the global walkout is to move as many accounts as you can to a union or local bank. Use these new accounts for your savings and transactions. If you run a business, move your business accounts as well and start paying wages from there. If you have debts with larger banks, look into transferring your debt as well.

We understand that this step is a hard one and might be impossible for some people to achieve this right away. You might have loans with big banks which you can’t move. 

The GLOBAL WALKOUT is always voluntary…just do what you can to the limit you are comfortable with.

Even if you have debts with large banks, you might be able to open a savings or transaction account with a smaller bank and transfer money into your loans from there.

Even if you can’t participate fully in this step, it will raise awareness of the financial control that we are currently under. We can work towards disconnecting from the larger banks over time.

BELOW, YOU’LL FIND A PRINTOUT TO HELP YOU START A CONVERSATION WITH THE BANK YOU’RE LEAVING AND THE ONE YOU’RE JOINING

How do I move my accounts?

  • This is a global movement. We are unable to research local banks in every country. You will have to research it yourself. Feel free to go to our Facebook page or telegram channel and offer suggestions so other people in your country can see them.
  • It’s important to research if the small bank is associated with a larger one. Try to find one that is as independent as possible.
  • We understand that this is a big ask and will take hours of appointments and planning. The only way to effectively push back against financial tyranny is to walk the walk J Try to open your new accounts in person so you can explain the global walkout and WHY you are putting in the effort to change your accounts.
  • Once you choose a new bank, open the new accounts and simply transfer your funds across. Be sure to CLOSE your old accounts. It would be ideal that you book an appointment so you can tell them WHY you are leaving. It will be a great way to start the conversation.
  • As mentioned above, we do not have the resources to give specific suggestions for each country, it is your choice and responsibility.

Why bother moving your bank accounts to a smaller bank?

  • Smaller banks support local family-run businesses more. If you invest your money in them, you are helping your local economy overall.
  • If enough people take their money away from the big banks, they will have less control.
  • Sometimes, smaller banks are less controlled by big corporations and the government.
  • We are unsure what the future holds. We know that the globalists are trying to bring in a digital ID and a cashless society. This step alone will not prevent this, but it’s a start.

·         Businesses save money instantly on transaction fees.

·         They have more control over their profits.

·         If you can help save that business money, they are more likely to keep staff employed and give back to their local community.

·         Small to medium businesses are integral parts of keeping your local economy and community thriving and growing.

WHAT’S WRONG WITH A CASHLESS SOCIETY?

·         Cash jobs on the side will no longer be an option, which creates economic hardship and higher debt.

·         Tech companies have invested heavily in making electronic transactions secure but hackers are always one step ahead. In a world of 100% electronic payments, the risk of falling victim to fraud rises significantly.

·         If cash dies, your location and purchases will be tracked automatically. You won’t be able to opt-out or unsubscribe.

·         If you are on any government funding whatsoever, they could restrict you from spending that money on certain things that the government does not condone.

·         Cash allows you to make anonymous purchases or donations. If cash dies, there will be no such thing.

·         People in abusive situations are often financially reliant on their abuser. If cash is removed, their way out will be that much harder or close to impossible.

·         Elderly, blind and people with disabilities will struggle. Many people can’t or don’t know how to use technology. They would also be vulnerable to scams and other technological difficulties.

WHAT ARE THE TECHNOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS OF A CASHLESS SOCIETY?

·         We will be reliant on technology every day. If you want access to funds, you will need the latest devices and software to enable payments. If you are not a very tech savvy person, this could become a big problem. It is also extremely expensive and inconceivable for some households.

·         You won’t be able to leave your home without some sort of device.

·         Cash protects you from being at the mercy of electronic forms of payments during power outages and looming high energy costs.

  In collaboration with Canada Health Alliance, Hatim Kheir, a lawyer with the Justice Centre For Constitutional Freedom (jccf.ca), will be joining us to present a workshop on Digital ID technologies.  Hatim will speak to how Canadian governments are increasingly using Digital ID technologies to monitor and track your physical and financial behaviors. In certain cases, governments use what they know about you to unconstitutionally limit your Charter-protected rights and freedoms. New technologies emerge in Canada every day, and Canadians must be informed about how novel technologies impact their fundamental rights and freedoms. Penticton4Freedom: Change is Coming!

“Democracy only works in a moral society.” Brian Peckford, only living signator to the Canadian Constitution and Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

We now realize that we must create that moral society from the ground up to replace the broken health, legal and financial systems and the corrupt, tyrannical government we currently have in Canada. For Penticton4Freedom, that means getting our own house in order first by being more specific about where we fit in the world of freedom organizations and focusing on our highest contribution to the movement, to our supporters and to our country.

Our aim now is to complete the five key projects listed below:

1.       Identify Our Shared Values as a principled foundation for all of our actions

2.       Declare Our Vision – what we envision as a positive future society to live in

3.       Clarify Our Mission – the specific actions we take as our contribution to that broader vision

4.       Agree upon a Code of Conduct for our rallies and other public events

5.       Create a more inclusive Decision-Making and Organizational Structure and choose those to administer it

CALL TO ACTION

– RSVP if you wish to be included in the planning process for these foundational projects. Further discussion at our March 31 Planning, followed by a Zoom call the following Wednesday, April 6 from 6:30 to 8 pm.

– Please include your initial thoughts on any or all of the items above as well as where your primary interest lies.

The first vehicles are expected to reach Penticton around 11:30 or shortly after and could take an hour or more to pass completely. Updates as we receive them.

Those who can’t make it to the meeting spot can still join the convoy from wherever you have an entry point directly into the shoulder lane so you can avoid having to cross lanes of traffic to join up.
