Linda Stone was silenced but will not be cancelled
Ontario trustee Linda Stone raised concerns about the Durham District School Board’s proposed policies. So they tried to cancel her.
Trustee Linda Stone was censured by the Durham District School Board and excluded from committee meetings for exercising her freedom of expression and for voicing her constituents’ concerns about the Board’s policies around race, sexuality, and gender. As of February 2023, she has also been barred from attending any Board committee meetings for the rest of this year. With the help of Justice Centre lawyers, Ms. Stone has filed an application for judicial review against the DDSB in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice for censoring her speech and interfering with her ability to fulfil her role as an elected official. Censored teacher Carolyn Burjoski’s hearing takes place June 2023
Former teacher, Carolyn Burjoski, from the Waterloo Region District School Board in Ontario, was expelled from a public school board meeting after she called out books for their age-inappropriateness and sexually explicit content. Watch her January 2022 delegation here. Justice Centre lawyers will argue in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice that the decision to muzzle Ms. Burjoski was a violation of her Charter right to freedom of expression. A hearing date has been set for the week of June 5, 2023.
“It is sad that this even needs to be said, but politicians need to protect women and girls unequivocally by ensuring there are safe spaces where no biological male may enter. This includes public changerooms, bathrooms, and women’s shelters. Spaces are safe for women and girls when, for example, they can change clothes without needing to worry that someone with male anatomy will enter the changeroom and see them naked and vulnerable. Women and girls in women’s changerooms should not have to worry about being exposed to male genitalia.”
BC Nurse’s license on the line for believing women deserve private spaces
Amy Hamm drew public attention by endorsing a Vancouver billboard stating “I JK Rowling”. That led two individuals to complain about her work to the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), despite having never been cared for by her. Like Rowling, Amy believes that women and girls deserve private spaces where males may not enter. The BCCNM launched an official investigation and disciplinary proceedings against Ms. Hamm, igniting a case that will have broad implications for regulated professionals who dare to express views outside of approved ideological orthodoxy. With the support of a legal team provided by the Justice Centre, she has been subjected to many rounds of official disciplinary hearings and will be facing additional hearings this fall.

After an incredible two days in court March 1st and 2nd, everyone finally got to see what the fuss is all about – and the shock even in the media was visible everywhere in the courtroom. Even opposition media, who came out in droves hoping to see some incredible fight scene to label me with, were amazed and dismayed at what truly occurred. The video, taken by one of our loyal supporters clearly showed that THEY (security guards) pushed into David, not the reverse. And more evidence is yet to come.

Many people believe that the COVID-19 issue is over – and it is not. Freedom is a multi-generational struggle, where we hope to leave a better place for our children. These will require ongoing research and production of signs and materials for public education. The digital ID and currency issues are two of the most critical and going to involve significant amounts of education for people.

Moments ago, I watched a judge convict Pastor Artur Pawlowski for giving a sermon to the trucker convoy near the Coutts border crossing last year.
Frankly, I’m stunned. Prosecuting and convicting Christian pastors for giving sermons is something you’d expect in a place like China, not Canada.
But Justice Gordon Krinke said that Pastor Artur’s sermon was not protected by freedom of speech or freedom of religion. And he said it wasn’t just “information”.
Even though the truckers had been blockading the U.S.-Canada border for days before Artur arrived, the judge said Artur “incited” them to break the law. The judge said that when Pastor Artur referred to Poland’s “Solidarity” movement — Pastor Artur is Polish himself — it was an incitement to paralyze the country, like they did in Poland during Soviet times.
And the judge said he was convinced “beyond a reasonable doubt” that all this was a crime.
I spoke with Pastor Artur immediately after the conviction. And he hasn’t given up. Remember, he’s been fighting for years — this is just the latest battle, not the end of the war.
For one thing, Pastor Artur is challenging the constitutionality of one of the laws used to get him — the Critical Infrastructure Defence Act. That’s a law brought in to fight against eco-terrorism, like if Greenpeace might vandalize a pipeline. The judge said that Pastor Artur’s speech incited truckers to block a highway, and that’s critical infrastructure, so he convicted him under that eco-terrorism law. Unbelievable.
But remember: Pastor Artur has lost before. Two years ago, a judge convicted him of opening his church during the lockdowns, and gave him a bitter sentence. But Pastor Artur kept fighting — and three Court of Appeal judges unanimously overturned his conviction.
And Pastor Artur made it crystal clear to me: he’ll keep fighting for freedom.
And we’ll keep reporting on his fight every step of the way — even as the CBC and the rest of the media party denounce him, and laugh at his persecution.

Ron DeSantis Flies To Israel To Destroy Free Speech In Florida
This week Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida made a trip to Israel to sign HB 269, a bill that makes it a felony with up to five years in jail for passing out “offensive” flyers or pamphlets. This move has been widely criticized by free speech advocates and legal experts as a gross violation of the First Amendment. The bill states that anyone distributing “any material for the purpose of intimidating or threatening the owner” could be convicted of a felony “hate crime.” While we often write about the “hate speech” rules on Big Tech platforms, this is far worse. This is the state of Florida violating the First Amendment of the United States.
The legislation came about after activists from a group called the Goyim Defense League made headlines for several years for their activism efforts. The Goyim Defense League’s activism takes the form of distributing flyers that contain “uncomfortable truths” about the individuals who control the mainstream media in the United States. These flyers have been handed out across multiple states, including Florida, and have been met with mixed reactions from the public.
Despite the controversy surrounding the flyers, it is worth noting that they contain no threats of violence or threatening language. Rather, they present what the Goyim Defense League sees as a reality about the individuals who control the mainstream media, and invite readers to consider a different perspective. While some might consider this information to be “offensive,” there is nothing inherently threatening or “intimidating” about the distribution of flyers with factual information on them. The flyers even have a statement on them noting that they are “distributed randomly without malicious intent.”
The First Amendment of the United States Constitution guarantees the right to freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition. This means that individuals have the right to express their opinions, even if those opinions are controversial or unpopular. The government cannot censor or punish individuals for their speech, unless it poses an imminent danger or threat to others.
HB 269, however, seeks to criminalize speech that is deemed “intimidating” by the state. This is an extremely vague and subjective standard, and it could be used to silence a wide range of speech that is protected by the First Amendment. It is important to note that the Supreme Court has repeatedly held that speech that some may find offensive is still protected under the First Amendment.
This isn’t the first time Ron DeSantis has signed anti-First Amendment legislation while in Israel. Governor Ron DeSantis signed HB 741, also known as the “Combating Public Disorder” bill, into law on May 14, 2019, in Jerusalem, Israel. The signing ceremony took place at the David Citadel Hotel, where DeSantis was joined by several prominent Jewish leaders and members of the Israeli government.
The bill aims to protect religious institutions and their members from discrimination and harassment. However, many have argued that it does much more than that, and that it represents a serious threat to free speech and civil liberties.
One of the main provisions of HB 741 is a requirement that all Florida public schools, colleges, and universities adopt a definition of anti-Semitism that includes certain forms of criticism of Israel. The definition in question is the one adopted by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, which defines anti-Semitism as “a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews” and includes examples such as “denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination” and “applying double standards to Israel.”
Critics of HB 741 argue that this definition is overly broad and could be used to stifle legitimate criticism of Israel and its policies. They point out that the definition includes language that could be interpreted as equating anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism, even though the two are not the same thing. They also argue that the definition is not necessary, as schools and universities already have policies in place to address discrimination and harassment.
Another provision of HB 741 requires law enforcement agencies to conduct training on identifying and responding to anti-Semitic incidents. Many have raised concerns that this provision could be used to target legitimate forms of protest and dissent. For example, if a group of pro-Palestinian activists were to stage a peaceful demonstration outside an Israeli consulate or embassy, could they be accused of engaging in an anti-Semitic incident?
Perhaps most controversially HB 741 creates a private right of action for people who believe they have been discriminated against on the basis of their religion. This means that individuals who feel that they have been the victim of anti-Semitic discrimination can sue the alleged perpetrator for damages. This is highly likely to be used to stifle free speech and dissent. For example, a professor who expresses a controversial opinion about Israel could potentially be sued by a student who disagrees with them and feels that their religious beliefs have been discriminated against.
The fact that Governor DeSantis flew to a foreign country to sign both of these bills is absurd. Florida is a state in the United States, and its laws should be signed within the state’s borders. The reality that Gov. DeSantis chose to sign these bills in Israel, a foreign country, raises serious questions about his priorities and commitment to upholding the Constitution for the citizens of the United States and his state of Florida.
The implications of HB 269 and HB 741 are deeply troubling. They could be used to silence political dissent, punish those who criticize government officials, or suppress speech that challenges the status quo. In short, it is a direct attack on the First Amendment and the principles of free speech that are so essential to a healthy society.
We must be willing to engage in open dialogue with those who hold different views, and to stand up for our rights even when it is uncomfortable or unpopular to do so.
This means supporting organizations and individuals who are working to protect free speech, like Gab, and advocating for policies that promote openness and transparency in government. It also means being willing to speak out against efforts to silence dissent or suppress speech even when they come from our own political allies.
The defense of our fundamental rights is not a partisan issue. It is a matter of basic human dignity and freedom and it requires all of us to stand up and be counted. We must remain vigilant in the face of attempts to suppress speech and dissent, and be willing to push back against these efforts wherever they arise. Only by doing so can we ensure that America remains free for generations to come.

Dear Editor: I recently picked up a brochure from Penticton City Hall’s front desk. It’s called Reimagine Northern Gateway, and is the plan to establish the city’s first 15-minute neighborhood. There are going to be more? Funny, we were told at the March open house that 15-minute cities wouldn’t happen here in our lifetime, calling it a neighbourhood doesn’t disguise the agenda. And greater Penticton is already less than a 15- minute drive to anywhere in the city. There were committees in the recent past that applied to Infrastructure Canada, apparently on behalf of the people of Penticton, to structure our city to be a SMART city, look it up, also C40. This entails using taxpayer dollars to develop our city to be a utopia where no one owns cars or travels, except by walking, biking, riding the bus. The new lake-to-lake bike lane is finished, what’s on the agenda now is to eliminate car use by installing concrete barricades to make vehicle use a lot less handy. RNG brochure details reducing traffic for “active transportation: aka walk, bike? Building more commercial space? Meanwhile the downtown is getting more and more vacant commercial space? More indoor ice surfaces, are the ones we have over-utilized? The City is acquiring land in the area, and spending over $200 million into SOEC campus, is this why taxes are going up? We have a $10 million, or more, electric reserve, which the city is “borrowing” from, for the unasked for, by the people, bike lanes. Update — Petition to ban Kelowna Protest/Rallies
The Petition and supporting Gov’t affidavits to ban our protest rallies have now been served upon David, on Monday at 4:30 p.m. There will be 21 days to file a reply under the rules.
All documents and pleadings are now placed on our website for public viewing: https://clearbc.org/city-of-kelowna/ Details of our position cannot be released just yet, however it will be interesting to expose their corruption as we move along.
Once our responding materials are filed, we will post them on line as well.
Unfortunately, this case will have significant repercussions for every protest rally in British Columbia, and indeed, in Canada, as it is being heard in a superior court in the province.

After an incredible two days in court March 1st and 2nd, everyone finally got to see what the fuss is all about – and the shock even in the media was visible everywhere in the courtroom. Even opposition media, who came out in droves hoping to see some incredible fight scene to label me with, were amazed and dismayed at what truly occurred. The video, taken by one of our loyal supporters clearly showed that THEY (security guards) pushed into David, not the reverse. And more evidence is yet to come.

In the absence of rallies every Saturday, we don’t get the funding we used to that allowed us to print all the resources we provide at the CLEAR booth, as well as the inserts that go into the Druthers newspapers for our Sunday paper deliveries. Thanks to your past donations, we have delivered over 8000 copies of Druthers, plus various inserts, in Kelowna and W. Kelowna, with lots more to go!
Future protests are being strategically planned right now for City Hall, the courthouse, and other locations.
Many people believe that the COVID-19 issue is over – and it is not. Freedom is a multi-generational struggle, where we hope to leave a better place for our children. Other serious issues are lurking ominously in the near future that we will need to focus on: 15 min cities; legal actions; digital ID and digital currencies to start. These will require ongoing research and production of signs and materials for public education. The digital ID and currency issues are two of the most critical and going to involve significant amounts of education for people.

You will be provided with a printed google map of the area you will be delivering to. Bring a yellow marker to indicate which streets you completed. You may run out of papers or you may end up with extra
We ask that with every paper you deliver, you remove the inserts and place them in the mailbox in front or behind the paper. That way, someone who may hastily throw out the paper will still be forced to see each individual flyer
Please deliver only one paper per mailbox, regardless if you have different papers (we usually have a combination of different papers and editions). Some houses may have up to 4 mailboxes; put one paper in each as they are for different tenants
Sign up as a Volunteer to participate in one of the many focus groups we are working to organize. Most people are too busy to commit to fighting for freedom. I guarantee you will have plenty of extra time after Canada becomes a full-fledged communist country and your jobs & businesses are gone. Time to add freedom-fighting to your list of priorities. We are truly living in crazy times. My friends at the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition have reported disturbing recommendations from the Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying (AMAD) that were presented to the House of Commons on February 15, 2023.
AMAD recommended an amendment to the Criminal Code of Canada that would extend euthanasia to “mature” minors!Sign and tell Justice Minister David Lametti and the Government of Canada it is WRONG TO EUTHANIZE CHILDREN. Unfortunately, AMAD has more terrible recommendations. Another tabled recommendation stated that the Government of Canada makes child euthanasia accessible without parental consent. It goes even further, declaring that if the parents of a child, who wants euthanasia say “No!” but the child has “the requisite decision-making capacity,” the child’s request for euthanasia would override their parents’ consent and concern for their son or daughter. These amendments imply that parents and guardians may not be alerted in the decision to administer assisted suicide to their child, who is determined “capable of decision-making.” Please sign and stop this insidious agenda towards legally murdering innocent children.Where did these crazy and reckless recommendations come from?
They are based on an article titled “Medical Assistance in Dying at a paediatric hospital,” published in The Journal of Medical Ethics. The paper originated from a committee at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.This committee actively investigated how to best implement euthanasia for children without the knowledge or consent of their parents. The BCCNM launched an official investigation and disciplinary proceedings against Ms. Hamm, igniting a case that will have broad implications for regulated professionals who dare to express views outside of approved ideological orthodoxy. With the support of a legal team provided by the Justice Centre, she has been subjected to many rounds of official disciplinary hearings and will be facing additional hearings this fall.
