In case you missed events this past week …
Penticton4Freedom Event June 25
Laureen, Shar, Derrick, Alex, Amadeo and I talked to a lot of people along the Lakeshore last Sunday and handed out Bill 36 materials and newly-printed Penticton4Freedom “business cards” announcing our weekly meetings at Lakawanna Park. While some people just waved us off, the majority of those who at least made eye contact, did stop to learn what it was all about, and most of them were grateful for the materials. We met some individuals who are already on our email list, a lot from other cities here for the weekend events and added another 4 new names to our email list, with promises from several to drop by our rallies on Sundays. We all agreed we’d like to do this again. Way more people than we expected ARE awake, even though they may not have access to all the resources we have each week at our fingertips.
Thanks go out to Gina for the P4F, David Lindsay for the CLEAR, and Wayne (A4C; and VCC) for their informative emails; plus A4C, Freedom Rising, CHA (Canada Health Alliance), BC Solidarity and many individuals who take the time to email us with event announcements and important initiatives.

FAMILY FREEDOM EVENTS – Penticton4Freedom – every Sunday 1 to 3 p.m.
Now being held at Lakawanna Park during the summer months
Please arrive early (12:30) to help set up the canopy and the tables, and to invite passers-by to join us.
Moving to Lakawanna Park for the summer gives our events a more family-friend name and environment as part of reaching out to the community around us. Lots of families at the beach. Lots of folks are out strolling.

· Canada Day events in Kelowna this weekend will be huge. Lots of people passing by. Great outreach time.
· A time when our flags really mean something to Canadians.
· Bring appropriate signage. We are still fighting to maintain our rights to peaceful assembly in public parks.
PENTICTON CONVOY DETAILS
· Derrick will be leaving early with his truck and travelling billboard trailer to have time to find parking.
· ALL OTHERS, please meet at Main & Warren at 10:00 a.m. to park your vehicles and if desired, carpool with others.
· We leave at 10:20 sharp, to allow for Canada Day traffic, then meet up with the Resistance convoy in
West Kelowna at 525 Hwy 97 S (Tim Hortons & Landmark Theatre parking lot)
· P4F sponsored Canada flags, buttons, scarves, pinwheels, magnetic car decals, bumper stickers and other items
will be available at Main & Warren, and in West Kelowna, if time is left before we head for Stuart Park from there.

International Truth Day – July 15, 2023
Saturday, July 15th Once again we will be hosting International Truth Day here at the One Eyed Budgie/Truth Centre.
As many of you on this mailing list are well outside of our geographical area and likely not able to attend, I would encourage you all to host your own Truth Day gathering no matter how small it may be… it is the intent and energy that will carry across the land.
For those able to attend it will be as the previous gatherings:
– potluck event beginning in mid-afternoon and going until the crowd winds down,
– bring lawn chairs for yourselves,
– byob if required.
Prizes again for the oldest, youngest, furthest travelled, and the winners of the horseshoe tournament.

ACTIONS OF THE WEEK
| ——————————- o0o————————————- Bill C-47 Is Now Law On June 22nd, 2023 the government passed Bill C-47 which will have far reaching effects on all natural health products and practitioners in Canada. The sections of the bill pertaining to natural health products (sections 500-504) were well hidden inside a lengthy budget bill and as a result, many Canadians were not aware of them. Now that the bill has passed, it is urgent that we take action to protect our access to natural health products. We must demand that our MPs repeal sections 500 to 504 from Bill C-47. Understanding the consequences of sections 500-504 of Bill C-47 is critical for any Canadian who uses natural health products, seeks services from natural health practitioners, and values their freedom to care for their body in whatever way they choose. The Natural Health Products Protection Association (NHPPA.org) has updated Shawn Buckley’s latest Discussion Paper to reflect Bill C-47 passing into law. Call your MP and request an in-person meeting to discuss the effects of Bill C-47 on natural health products. 2. Write a letter to your MP to share your concerns about Bill C-47 and how it will impact your access to natural health products and practitioners (to see guidelines for writing your letter, please watch for campaign updates at NHPPA.org) 3. Please subscribe to the Natural Health Products Protection Association (NHPPA.org) to receive their updates and action items. We will be sending out further action items and updates as they become available. If they succeed, they will know exactly when, where and what you spend your money on. They’ll also have the ability to restrict your spending for whatever reason they want. Do you remember when Trudeau froze people’s bank accounts just for donating to the Canadian truckies? That’s a small insight into the type of control these power-hungry globalists want. I have one very simple thing to say…THE KEY IS THAT WE ALL SAY NO TOGETHER!!! No matter what they try, we must say “NO” at the same time! I am not an expert on money or bartering! However, it can’t hurt to at least start thinking and talking about what you would do in this scenario. Assuming you refuse to get any form of digital ID or digital currency and you can no longer work or go grocery shopping…what would you do? You don’t have to know the answer right now, but there’s no harm in thinking and talking about it. Doing this will provide you peace of mind and prepare you so you can say “NO” when/if this scenario plays out. Start planning: Even if this scenario doesn’t play out, what harm is there in planning? If you have spare money to purchase gold and silver, consider that. The smaller pieces could be very useful for bartering. What is something you can grow or make now that would be good for bartering? Maybe start becoming an expert in just one vegetable or one type of alcohol, Or start to stock up on an item that might be good for bartering like coffee, tobacco, tea etc. Network locally with people who are already growing their own food or have a skill that will be useful in this scenario. Help them in exchange for knowledge. It can’t hurt to grow your skill base regardless of what the future holds. Use this as a motivator to learn a new skill. Everyday Tips! Use cash as much as you can. See step 1 for more info on this. Fiat currency has its flaws, we know! But this is still a good way to show them that we’re aware of their ploys. Delete all payment methods from your devices (apple pay, digital bank cards etc). If enough people stop using these convenient services, it will send a message. Talk about it…raise awareness. The cash and digital ID topic is a very good conversation starter. |
