MEETING PLACE FOR PENTICTON SUPPORTERS

Saturday, March 12 – Meet at 11:30 to show your support for the convoy at the end of the Parkway Channel.  There is lots of parking there immediately west of the bridge. With gas prices climbing, it’s a good place to make new friends, CARPOOL and share the trip costs. If you have ever tubed the channel, you’ll recognize that this is where you get off the rafts. We’ll park there and cheer on the convoy as it goes by, then any who wishes can join the convoy at the end of the line.

Those who can’t make it to the meeting spot can still join the convoy from wherever you have an entry point directly into the shoulder lane so you can avoid having to cross lanes of traffic to join up.

Make as good an estimate as you can of when the convoy might be coming by your chosen resting spot.   IS CRYPTO THE ANSWER?  image.png

We are all concerned about the safety and stability of our bank accounts and preserving the value of our personal assets given the actions of Justin Trudeau and the Liberal government. We recognize the value of cash and investing in precious metals such as gold and silver, but most of us are unsure of the role of cypto currency in securing our assets. To help explain the basics and where the opportunities might be, we have invited a panel of experts for a National call this Thursday, March 10th at 7:00 PM EST. Join us for this very important and timely discussion about an option we should all learn more about. To register: thu.vaccinechoicecanada.com

We’ll see you later this week!

Twitter Censorship & Political Thought Control: Twitter Suspends Account Belonging to Ontario MPP Randy Hillier http://cafe.nfshost.com/?p=7334

Twitter Suspends Account Belonging to Ontario MPP Randy Hillier by Miriam Katawazi, CTV News Toronto – March 8, 2022 https://www.cp24.com/twitter-suspends-account-belonging-to-ontario-mpp-randy-hillier-1.5811195

Ontario independent MPP Randy Hillier has been suspended from Twitter on Tuesday after months of speaking out against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and other public health measures. The news comes after Ottawa police recently revealed they were investigating the MPP’s Twitter activity due to comments related to the so-called “Freedom Convoy” protests in the capital city.

In messages to CTV News Toronto, the Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston MPP said the social media platform suspended his account because he “stated the truth.”

“I erred and stated a fact which Twitter found offensive,” he said on Tuesday, adding that his comments were in regards to the court-ordered Pfizer documents released last week about deaths due to vaccination.

In a statement to CTV News Toronto, Twitter Canada confirmed that the account was permanently suspended for “violating our COVID-19 misleading information policy.”

On their website, Twitter states that they suspend accounts that violate their rules, which are meant to ensure “all people can participate in public conversations freely and safely.”

The MPP has faced backlash in the past over his comments and behaviour on social media.

In February, the Ontario legislature passed a motion that Hillier wouldn’t be recognized by the Speaker until he apologized for his conduct on social media.

The MPP has made racist and discriminatory social media statements about federal Transport Minister Omar Alghabra, and also allegedly wrote posts that were insinuating a call to violence.

In addition, while the convoy protests were being dispersed in late February, Hillier reportedly called for his followers on Twitter to “keep calling” emergency phone lines in Ottawa despite police urging people to stop.

In November last year, Hillier also apologized for a post in which he used names and photos of people who had passed away to suggest without evidence that they had died due to COVID-19 vaccination.

RAYCHYL WHYTE IS RAISING MONEY FOR CAFE — SUPPORT HER YEARLY WALK FOR FREEDOM

Raychyl Whyte is raising funds for CAFE on St. Patrick’s Day~ 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of this annual walk! ~1922-2022

Thursday, March 17 2022 will be Raychyl’s 16th annual 42 km trek from Toronto to Oakville, and she is pleased to raise funds for CAFE again this year.

It’s a milestone year for this annual St. Patty’s Day tradition, as this year marks the 100th anniversary of its commencement! The walk will begin at 9 AM at Toronto City Hall on March 17, and conclude sometime between approx. 4:15-4:50 PM in downtown Oakville, at or near 234 Lakeshore Rd. From there, participants will be getting transportation over to Mo’s Family Restaurant located at 467 Speers Rd. in Oakville, where CAFE supporters are welcome to join in the celebration with Raychyl + the other participants in the walk. ~ Wear something green. ~

Protests Against Mandates Erupt Worldwide; Media Silent http://cafe.nfshost.com/?p=7324

Protests Against Mandates Erupt Worldwide; Media Silent

While the Fake News media is determined to paint a one-sided narrative about the Russia-Ukraine situation, freedom-loving citizens from all walks of life take to the streets in cities across the globe to demand an end to government overreach.

And from Calgary, a CAFE supporter reports: In Calgary a group of truckers are ensconced in the Beltline area of town.  I’m amazed at their stamina. The people living in the area want them to go because of the congestion but the truckers don’t honk their horns as far as I can tell. The police keep an eye on them but are not invasive. For many months people have demonstrated against vaccine mandates every Saturday without fail. It is really is about government overreach. They keep the lamp burning to light our way. Yesterday the news covered the US convoy in Washington DC saying there was in-fighting but I didn’t see anything more than those few words on the screen. All news is overshadowed by protests in support of the Ukraine. I can’t help but think the globalists had to act fast and moved their agenda forward because people all over the world were waking up thanks to the truckers and freedom protesters. What better way to counteract the momentum but with this war.

CAFE SUPPORTED POLITICAL PRISONER DR. JAMES SEARS & PICKETED TORONTO SOUTH DETENTION CENTRE, SUNDAY, MARCH 6, 2022 — SENT BACK TO PRISON FOR ACCEPTING FREE SPEECH AWARD

CAFE SUPPORTED POLITICAL PRISONER DR. JAMES SEARS & PICKETED TORONTO SOUTH DETENTION CENTRE, SUNDAY, MARCH 6, 2022 — SENT BACK TO PRISON FOR ACCEPTING FREE SPEECH AWARD

On February 3, former political prisoner Dr. James Sears was arrested at gunpoint in the parking lot having just seen his parole officer for his regular visit. He is charged with “breach of probation”. On February 17, in a telephone hearing, he was found guilty of “not being of good conduct”. Why?  Because he accepted the George Orwell Free Speech Award from the CAFE and the presenter, Paul Fromm, “is a known White Supremacist”. [Not true.] Also, the Orwell Award was created by the late Doug Christie, “a far right lawyer.”

Thus, it’s clear Dr. Sears is in prison for his political views!!!

As part of our mission to support freedom of speech and the victims of tyrannical censorship laws, the Canadian Association for Free Expression (CAFE)  held a protest outside the Toronto South Detention Centre located at 160 Horner Ave, Toronto, ON M8Z 0C2,  Sunday afternoon, March 6.

Whew, it was windy, in fact, so windy — gale force winds — that one regular of advancing years was unable to struggle across the four-lane Horner Ave to join us.

Thanks to J.L. for bringing a boom box and some Johnny Cash prison songs. Thanks, also, to E.H. for the photos of the protest.

The website of the poisonous taxpayer-funded Canadian Anti-Hate Network suggests that the issue may also be comments he made in jest about Teresa Tam in his talk after CAFE gave him the George Orwell Free Speech award soon after he got out of jail. We have a strong suspicion we know which liberty-hating individual in Ottawa made the complaint.

Those of us who cherish freedom owe it to our values  to demonstrate and support Dr. Sears. These protests matter. Guards told him last fall that they knew for a fact that CAFE’s protests — six in all last year — were a factor in his being granted early parole.

* Amnesty International defines a  “prisoner of conscience” or political prisoner as  a person punished solely for the non-violent expression of their political, religious or cultural views. Both Dr. James Sears and Leroy St. Germaine are political prisoners — jailed because they criticized politically powerful minority groups. Free speech activist Raychyl Whyte has continued her  lobbying of Amnesty to adopt Dr. Sears as a “prisoner of conscience”

* A lasting disgrace is that only one mainstream media writer has  criticized this attack on freedom of the press, which they regularly condemn if it occurs in Hong Kong or the Philippines.
FREE POLITICAL PRISONER, DR. JAMES SEARS

Fantastic Freedom Convoy & Rally, Hamilton to Burlington

Fantastic Freedom Convoy & Rally, Hamilton to Burlington

Today saw a fantastic Freedom Slow Roll Convoy from Dundurn Castle, Hamilton, to Burlington City Hall. The event was organized by People’s Party of Canada Burlington candidate, Mike Bator. There was a strong CAFE presence. We heard the Oakville and Burlington several candidates and several New Blue Party provincial candidates.

Afterwards, we converged on Kelly’s Bake Shoppe. She didn’t enforce mask mandates or vaxx passports. A $5.00 off coupon was distributed at the rally. The tea and coffee and huge homemade cookies were delicious and most welcome.

‘Freedom convoys’ taking to Hwy. 401, 402 for large-scale protest Saturday

Convoys protesting COVID-19 measures plan to take to 400-series highways in Southwestern Ontario Saturday as part of a Canada-wide protest.

Multiple social media pages are promoting the weekend protests on highways 401 and 402 as part of a cross-Canada “freedom chain.”

London participants are meeting at the Flying J truck stop on Highbury Avenue at 1:30 p.m. and driving to Woodstock and Waterloo, for a march at Waterloo Town Square, according to a Facebook page promoting the event.

“Bring them flags, decorate them vehicles, don’t forget to honk them horns. Let’s roll,” a protest poster says.

OPP and Waterloo regional police said Friday they will monitor the planned protests.

Other convoys plan to leave Sarnia, Windsor and London Saturday morning, according to social media posts. Some will continue north through Toronto and Barrie to Brock, a township south of Lake Simcoe about 30 kilometres west of Lindsay.

Protests against COVID restrictions and mandates have rolled through Southwestern Ontario centres on recent weekends. They began in late January to support the so-called Freedom Convoy that occupied downtown Ottawa for three weeks and closed Windsor’s Ambassador Bridge for a week before being broken up by police.

An Ottawa-bound convoy passed through Southwestern Ontario Jan. 27, when supporters along the 401 cheered passing vehicles, many carrying Canadian flags and signs disparaging Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Another convoy is set for London Saturday afternoon, marking the fifth straight weekend that a protest has passed through the city.

“We are monitoring for any potential events . . . and will share on social media if we are aware of anything that will impact the community,” London police Const. Sandasha Bough said by email.

This week, London police urged demonstrators to follow the rules of the road and respect local businesses. During past convoys, officers have been stationed at hospital entrances to ensure protests don’t disrupt patients and staff access.
