Private security officers will crack down on rule breakers after shoppers crowded into big-box stores, where many bought non-essential goods during the first weekend of the province’s latest lockdown.

The province has hired security firm G4S Canada to boost its enforcement of COVID-19 regulations, and their personnel should be handing out tickets by this weekend, Premier Brian Pallister said Tuesday. 

The province is also filing charges in addition to levying fines against those who took part in a rally in Steinbach this past weekend where protesters flouted COVID-19 regulations, Pallister said.

“I believe Manitobans want to see deterrents to the kind of behaviour they saw on the weekend, and we’re going to make sure those deterrents exist,” he said. 

Pallister said he respects people’s right to peaceful protest, but those who took part in that protest put people in danger. 

“You don’t have to believe in COVID, COVID already believes in you,” he said. 

Personnel from G4S Canada are in orientation right now and will be working this weekend, Pallister said.

The staff at the security company are skilled at dealing with confrontation, which is part of the reason they were hired, Pallister said. 

“It’s a company that has people who are used to dealing with situations where, let’s just say, it’s not always pleasant … as opposed to a lot of our government employees that don’t have that experience personally,” he said.

All of Manitoba was put into code red restrictions last Thursday, forcing most non-essential businesses and services to close, as the province’s caseload continues to soar. 

Essential products include groceries, personal hygiene items, hardware and household appliances.

A total of 32 tickets were issued for various offences over the last week, including for large gathering sizes, failure to quarantine and a northern travel violation, says a news release from the province.

Michelle Gawronsky, president of the Manitoba Government and General Employees’ Union, called the hiring of G4S a Band-Aid solution, and said the province should have done more to invest in its own workforce. 

“Though civil servants are more than willing to do their part in the fight against COVID-19 and will continue to do so, simply adding unfamiliar pandemic enforcement duties to existing staff workloads is not a sustainable solution,” she said in an email.

“Having stripped the civil service to the bone and having failed to prepare for the second wave [of COVID-19], this government is scrambling to bring in temporary support for enforcement on an urgent basis.”

Manitoba NDP Leader Wab Kinew said that he thinks more enforcement is needed, but that it should have been prioritized months ago, when the province first started seeing signs of increased community spread. 

While the rally in Steinbach on the weekend was upsetting to a lot of people, what is more upsetting is what’s happening in Manitoba’s hospitals, the Opposition leader said.

“What really upsets us even more than that is a potential crisis unfolding in our hospitals and in our personal care homes,” he said. 

Restrictions for big box stores being looked at

A new daily record was set on Sunday, when 494 more COVID-19 cases were announced. Another 392 cases were announced on Monday, and 270 more on Tuesday.

The total number of deaths in the province due to the pandemic is now 179. Of those, 110 deaths have come since the start of November.

On Monday, Pallister said the government was considering imposing tighter restrictions on big-box stores, suggesting they are flouting the spirit of the lockdown orders. 

Places like Walmart, Costco and Superstore have been allowed to remain open because they are deemed essential retailers, providing groceries and pharmacies.  

Long lines of customers have been seen waiting to get inside those stores, where they are able to purchase non-essential goods like toys, books and furniture. 

Some people have also complained that stores like Ikea and Best Buy have also remained open.

Smaller independent businesses that don’t carry a wide range of products have been forced to shutter during the lockdown.

Preventing big-box stores from selling products not considered essential is clearly “one element that has to be looked at,” Pallister said on Monday.

WINNIPEG — Hundreds of Manitobans gathered in Steinbach to protest COVID-19 restrictions implemented across the province, which led to at least one of the rally’s speakers being handed a $1,200 ticket for violating the very orders they were protesting.

On Saturday afternoon, an estimated 500 people gathered for a ‘Hugs over Masks’ car rally in Steinbach, a city that is currently experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases. According to provincial data, the Southern Manitoba city has 263 active cases, and has reported 14 deaths – the highest number of any area in the Southern Health region.

CTV News has previously reported that Steinbach has one of the highest infection rates in the country. Three kilometres away from the rally is Bethesda Regional Health Centre, which is also currently dealing with spiking cases.

Lewis Weiss, the elected Reeve for the RM of La Broquerie, was among the speakers at the rally.

“It seems very strange that our loved ones are being allowed to die when there are medicines available that very quickly and easily can cure this,” he said.

Weiss was joined at the rally by a number of speakers including a pastor, a former chiropractor, and other community members.

Minutes after the rally ended, a provincial conservation officer handed Weiss a ticket of $1,296 for violating public health orders. This is the maximum amount an individual can be fined under current orders in Manitoba.

Weiss told CTV News he believes he “put a target on my back” by speaking out.

Rally attendees responded by yelling, honking and berating the officer, surrounding provincial personnel and media. A person at the rally appeared to back their car into one of the responding provincial officers.

A spokesperson for the province told CTV News enforcement officials were on the scene and issued tickets, saying Manitoba Justice will provide more specific information once all the tickets have been processed.

“Our government finds it particularly disappointing to learn that excessive verbal abuse was directed at enforcement officials who were on site and issuing tickets,” they said. “These enforcement officials should be commended for doing their part to help keep Manitobans safe from the kind of irresponsible behaviour that was on display today.”

They did not say how many tickets were issued.

“Each person here in this country is so incredibly important, and I have nothing but compassion for everybody here, regardless of what side you are on, regardless of your beliefs,” said Kayla, one of the attendees at the rally.

“What we’re seeing here is people gathering from all different races, nationalities, backgrounds, careers and they all just want one thing, and that is freedom.”

Not all those in attendance at the rally were there to support the group.

Bambi Bertholet, a resident of Steinbach, was at the rally and had decorated her car with messages urging people to follow public health orders, including wearing a mask.

“Honestly, it does make me angry and it makes me really sad, and I feel like it is a huge disrespect to healthcare workers right now,” she said. “It is scary right now and I don’t know what they don’t get?”

Bertholet said she was told to leave by RCMP officers who were at the rally.

She was not the only one at the rally who was against the anti-mask movement. 

“I’m really quite alarmed, discouraged by the ability of large groups of people to act against science and against the best interest of the public all in the name of personal freedom,” said Dennis Hiebert, a professor of sociology at Providence University College and a resident of Steinbach. 

“I think it is very troubling.”

Speakers at the rally continued to call out the media for how it has covered the COVID-19 pandemic, claiming local news organizations covering the rally were spreading government “propaganda” and said, “media is the worst virus of them all.”

“The mainstream media has abandoned the people,” said former chiropractor Gerry Bohemier, who was speaking at the rally. 

Following the rally, an organizer berated the local media who were covering the gathering.

Earlier this year I wrote an open letter to the Mayor of Jasper, copied to the Mayor of McBride and Councillors in both communities, in which I asked many questions about the Corona Virus and the lockdowns. I did not receive any answers. Answers are not forthcoming, I would guess, because the answers to my questions about masks, isolation, vaccinations, lockdowns, 5G, inflated death counts, and tests are not in line with the official narrative about the Corona Virus.

Since then, so much more evidence has emerged, pointing to this plandemic being a scam. 

I am appealing to you to stop participating in the fraud called Covid-19. It is a tool being used to impose medical martial law. Many of the recipients of this letter are well aware of this, or at the very least, your gut tells you something is deeply wrong with the story. Yet, you are going along with draconian lockdowns, isolation, masks, contact tracing and you are trying to prevent us from exercising our natural and God-given rights to assemble and to breathe freely. This madness is destroying our souls, our economy, our entire society.

Your reasons might be: “we will lose our grant money”, or “I will lose my job”, or “I am afraid of…x, y, or z… if I do not obey the higher authorities”.  

None of those excuses will matter if we do not put a stop to the tyranny. All those things which you are afraid of losing will cease to exist if we carry on allowing this insanity. We will have nothing left worth protecting. 

People are now being encouraged to snitch on each other. An application can be made for the arrest of someone who you think might be infected. Do you understand the implications of this?

We the people have the power to stop this. We the people have the power to take back our lives, our freedoms, our beautiful world. We the people refuse to be muzzled. Keep in mind, you work for the people, not the other way around! And the people are waking up in droves.  

Please restore your power to reason, do some basic research and come back to your natural senses. It is imperative that you ignore the orders and impositions of those who are perpetrating the fraud. I am appealing to each and every one of you to immediately cease participation in this tyranny. Use your power at the local community level and announce a re-opening of everything. End the anti-social distancing mandates, end the mask mandates. Terminate the special position of “Covid by-law officer”.

Think about your children. Think about what kind of world they are inheriting. It will be a dystopia that even George Orwell would marvel at. 

Children are being told that if they don’t obey the mask and distancing rules, they could be responsible for the death of their grandparents. This can traumatize them for life! Imagine how they would feel if one of their grandparents happens to die during this time (of any cause – but Covid appears on the death certificate even though it was NOT the cause of death – that is exactly what is being done), and that child then suffers false guilt because they had visited with their loved ones. 

If you still suffer the mistaken belief that there is a serious threat from a virus which is so “dangerous” that most people who test positive for it do not even know they are sick, I encourage you to disabuse yourself of the lies and deceptions that are being foisted on us. It is incumbent upon you to learn and understand what is really going on. 

Implementing harmful orders from authorities who have no legitimate authority over us is wrong!

Following is a short list of considerations, accompanied by just a few links to videos or articles for your convenience. There are countless more sources, and there are thousands of whistle blowers in all walks of life and professions. But censorship is extreme, and that alone should raise questions. Why is free and open information so dangerous?

Masks: 

Donning a mask to stop a virus is about as effective as stopping mosquitoes with a chain link fence. Masks are completely useless at best, and harmful – sometimes even deadly – at worst. But they do serve to impact our whole society, both psychologically and physically. People are reacting to each other with fear and distrust. In addition, masks can cause permanent brain damage, especially in children.

Testing: 

There are serious problems with the reliability of tests, thereby giving false numbers of so-called Covid-19 cases. PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests can be manipulated in order to bring about positive results by increasing the amplification cycles of the genetic material being tested. It is interesting to note that the media talks about “cases”, confusing positive results with sick people. Adding to the confusion is the declaration that these healthy people could be “carriers” of the disease. It is also interesting to note that flu deaths have decreased, while so-called Covid deaths prevail. 

The PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test was never designed to test for a virus. The inventor of PCR, Nobel Chemistry Prize winner Kary Mullis,  said: “With PCR if you do it well you can find almost anything in anybody” and “it doesn’t tell you that you’re sick”.

There are more examples of the prediction of the pandemic. Could it be that it was a plan rather than a prediction?

Contact Tracing:

The ramifications of monitoring, following, and tracing every individual in our society in the name of keeping us healthy, based on the fraudulent “science” of this plandemic, are profound indeed. These measures will completely nullify our every freedom, take away all our God-given rights, and will serve to control our every move. Last I checked, this is pure communism. And that is not good. In case you were unaware, tens of millions of people were murdered, starved, tortured and enslaved by the communist Bolsheviks in Russia during the previous century.

Rather than suggesting one video or one article about the devastation brought about by the Bolsheviks, I recommend that you put some words such as “Bolshevik murder millions” into your search engine and choose from among many sources to research this yourself.

Vaccine:

How can there be a vaccine for something which has not been isolated and identified?

That is just the tip of the iceberg, but should be enough to prompt a person to question the official story. 

What have governments done? 

As Sir Charles Walker MP (UK) puts it: 

“We have criminalized freedom of association, the freedom to go about one’s business, the freedom to travel, and the freedom to protest…. [we are] criminalising parents for seeing their children and children for seeing their parents… The freedom to protest is the oxygen of democracy…” ~ Sir Charles Walker

Bi-law officers and police officers around the country are engaged in implementing mandates through intimidation and fear. Bi-laws and mandates are not worth the paper they are written on. Any laws that are being passed regarding lock-down measures are themselves unlawful and unconstitutional. These measures, mandates, by-laws, bills and statutes go against Natural Law and Common Law. 

We are being herded into enslavement. Please, have courage, and stop participating in this madness! We can stop it all tomorrow if we want to. Shed your fears about what “might happen” if you go against the orders from your higher-ups in government. If you are not working for the people, you are part of the tyranny. Follow your conscience, not these illegitimate orders from unaccountable so-called authorities.

Resistance to tyranny is obligatory.

Unless the Government Of Canada can produce substantial evidence that public demand exists for mandatory masks, the Canadian Nationalist Party will not comply.

If and when the Government Of Canada attempts to mandate medical facemasks on the population, in public spaces there must be lawful grounds to do so. The local authorities cannot enforce masks on the citizens unconditionally without the public’s approval or consent. As it stands right now, neither has been earned by the Government Of Canada.

In March of this year, the Canadian Nationalist Party served the Provincial Government Of Saskatchewan a notice of objection to their declared state of emergency regarding COVID-19 due to having “a high probability of causing undo suppression of our economic conditions – especially in rural areas of the province.”

We believe those words to be self-evident today.

This declaration of emergency was unnecessary to begin with. It may or may not remain that way, but ultimately the cost of such an alarmist reaction can be seen and felt on the streets of our towns and cities – where small business has taken the greatest hit and many storefronts have been boarded up and closed down. Meanwhile, the Globalist Elite buy up properties for a fraction of the price they would otherwise fetch on an open market, unrestricted by these very COVID-19 emergency measures.

Unless the Government Of Canada can produce substantial evidence that public demand exists for mandatory masks, the Canadian Nationalist Party will not comply.

CBC Failing To Uphold Journalistic Mandate
*Disclaimer: the following is a follow-up to the recent Canadian Nationalist Party complaint submitted to the Office Of The Ombudsman alleging a violation of their stated mandate of Journalistic Standards and Practices – code of ethics and practice.

My main point of contention lies with the idea that CBC, as a publicly-funded media broadcaster, has paid no attention whatsoever to the fact that a federal political party espousing the ideology of nationalism has been (for all intents and purposes) excluded from the democratic channel during and leading up to the recent 43rd Federal Election. It is unacceptable to justify this lack of coverage by claiming that the Canadian Nationalist Party is a “small party” and therefore does not warrant this kind of coverage when the subject-matter at hand demonstrates it is essentially impossible to grow any party who is not permitted to host public events and communicate their policies during an active election. This is a fundamental violation of our constitutional rights and self-determination.

In terms of mandate, the CBC is obligated to report on current affairs within the country which are in the public interest. The aforementioned claim is indeed in the public interest because Canadian citizens are not only being kept in the dark about the electoral policies of a federal political party but they are being denied meaningful representation when it comes to the ideology of nationalism. To not report on the exclusion of the ideology of nationalism from democratic proceedings in Canada is contrary to the public interest.

The Canadian Nationalist Party currently has active lawsuits in court regarding these claims. This too is in the public interest to know about – yet no coverage whatsoever has been brought to these very important issues which relate to the democratic and constitutional integrity of our society.

The willful lack of coverage of these developments, combined with the track record of CBC ubiquitously reporting negatively-oriented information about the same political party, provide reasonable grounds to conclude that our publicly-funded media broadcaster has departed from its mandate of journalistic integrity and balanced reporting. 

Therefore, unless they can make amends and keep Canadians informed of these very serious violations against our democratic and constitutional integrity, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation cannot be said to be acting in the public interest and should not expect the support of taxpaying citizens.

How often have I heard this note of discouragement when we speak of activism, whether it is attending a protest or writing a letter to an MP? I don’t feel it myself, but I know some others do. What pretends to be the voice of “realism” is really the chattering devil of planned discouragement. The Dark Forces seeking to vacuum away our freedoms have been fascinated by the study of psychology — what makes people’s minds tick and, then, how can this information be used to manipulate or control them.
Modern tyranny has come to the conclusion that they don’t have to physically eliminate all dissenters or doubters. Just scare the majority into compliance (as they have with masks in the COVID Craziness). Then, convey the idea that their position is inevitable. Not everyone will agree, but as long as they are discouraged and passive, the evil agenda prevails.
This brings me o a protest on October 18, the day Lady Michele Renouf was to go on trial in Dresden for remarks made in 2018 at a February 13 memorial held every year for the 300,000+ German civilians incinerated in that city on February 13-14, 1945. The war was essentially over. Dresden was not a manufacturing or military target. It was, indeed, acity to which perhaps 250,000 refugees fleeing the Soviet armies just 70 miles away had fled. Churchill himself in sending the waves of incendiary bombers had gloated that he would roast the German people. Anyway, Lady Michele’s brief impromptu speech caught the attention of the German thought police.
She was detained, interrogated, released and an |”investigation” begun to see whether she had violated Sec. 130 of the German Criminal Code — “racial incitement of the masses”. Her speech had made no reference to race.This law, however, is used to persecute anyone who questions the Hollywood version of World War II or the Jewish tribal history more often called he holocaust. In due course, she was charged. The trial was to commence October 16.
On that day, supporters of the Canadian Association for Free Expression (CAFE) held a protest outside the German Consulate in Toronto. We had a good many discussions with curious passersby. A short video was made of the protest. Reports of the protest spread over the Internet.
We had only a vague report later that day. Something happened in the German court but both Lady Michele and her assistant Peter Rushton were under some sort of gag order. We would not learn until November 2 that the German prosecutor had, at the last minute, withdrawn the charges. The gag order was in place until the formal papers had been signed and filed.Lady Michele was free.
What’s the Use?Here’s what Peter Rushton wrote: ” It was great to see you campaigning for Michèle’s acquittal: for once the international pressure and fear of official embarrassment has succeeded!“
The fake news media may not have covered our protest but people in Germany were watching. There were several reasons likely motivating the German authorities to retreat from the battlefield having  menaced Lady Michele with this case for 32 months. However, international notice and condemnation were one of them

We don’t alway see the results of our actions. Sometimes, indeed, they are ignored but our input goes into the mix influencing the decision makers.

Richard Stengel, the point man on state-owned media for Joe Biden’s transition team, has said protection of hateful speech that can provoke violence is a “design flaw” in the Constitution and should be fixed with “new guardrails.”

Stengel, a former MSNBC contributor, is transition team leader for the US Agency for Global Media, which includes broadcasters Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, Radio Liberty and the Middle East Broadcasting Networks. He’s likely to head the agency if Biden becomes president in January. Ironically, that means Washington’s foreign propaganda outlets, which traditionally have promoted America’s founding principles, would be overseen by a man with restrictive views on the most fundamental of those tenets – freedom of speech. “All speech is not equal,” Stengel wrote last year in an op-ed published by the Washington Post. “And where truth cannot drive out lies, we must add new guardrails. I’m all for protecting thought that we hate, but not speech that incites hate.”

Stengel gave the example of “sophisticated Arab diplomats” who had questioned why constitutional rights would allow a US citizen to burn a copy of the Koran. “It’s a fair question,” he said. “Yes, the First Amendment protects the thought that we hate, but it should not protect hateful speech that can cause violence by one group against another. Another example that Stengel cited was alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election. “Our foremost liberty protects any bad actors who hide behind it to weaken our society,” he wrote. “Russian agents assumed fake identities, promulgated false narratives and spread lies on Twitter and Facebook – all protected by the First Amendment.”

Stengel added that it’s time to consider hate-speech laws, like those enacted by other countries to discourage incitement of racial and religious tensions after World War II. He argued that mass shooters Dylann Roof and Omar Mateen were consumers of hate speech, which created a climate that made their heinous crimes more likely.

Stengel, formerly editor of Time magazine, was a US State Department undersecretary for public diplomacy and public affairs in the Obama-Biden administration. He referred to his former State Department role as “chief propagandist.”

“I’m not against propaganda,” Stengel reportedly told the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018. “Every country does it, and they have to do it to their own population. And I don’t necessarily think that’s awful.”

That Biden would choose a media chief who calls for restrictions on free speech came as little surprise to Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe, who tweeted: “Of course he does.” Another Twitter commenter took issue with Stengel’s free-speech curtailments being based on the offended party’s propensity for violence: “They are 100 percent advocating differential speech protections based on decibel level of complaints.”
