It\u2019s a good bet many of those sleepy senators have never gotten that many emails before. And it\u2019s waking them up.<br><br>The Senate committee just passed an amendment to Bill C-11 that would exempt online posts from ordinary people. That means if you post a video on YouTube or TikTok, it won\u2019t be regulated by government bureaucrats.<br><br><strong>This is a huge move to water down this legislation and CTF supporters like you deserve all the credit.<\/strong><br><br>But watering down this legislation isn\u2019t enough. It needs to be defeated.<br><br>The government shouldn\u2019t have the power to filter your news and streaming feeds at all. Any step in that direction makes it harder for you to hold the government accountable. So there\u2019s more work to do.<br><br>The amendment to Bill C-11 guarantees that the legislation has to go back to the House of Commons for further debate.
