The\u00a0imposition of continuing public health measures\u00a0on all Ontario Regions has no rhyme or reason. If Ontario remained\u00a0in the coloured framework,\u00a0then almost every Ontario region would be in Green or Yellow.\u00a0

\u00a0Despite that,\u00a0Ontario\u00a0maintains\u00a0the\u00a0longest and harshest\u00a0lockdown in the world.\u00a0 Although\u00a0our neighbours\u00a0to the south\u00a0are almost fully open with tens of\u00a0thousands packing large stadiums, Ontarians are still precluded from dining indoors or getting\u00a0a\u00a0haircut.\u00a0 Despite meeting its own arbitrary\u00a0targets\u00a0for Phase 2, Doug Ford\u00a0is unwilling to move\u00a0up\u00a0the\u00a0re-opening.\u00a0\u00a0

Even more upsetting is that Ontario\u2019s Reopening Framework does not include a full re-opening.\u00a0\u00a0Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan\u00a0include the\u00a0lifting of all public health restrictions in their final\u00a0opening phases.\u00a0\u00a0But Ontario has no plans to lift all public health restrictions.\u00a0

This, I submit to you,\u00a0is the next frontier in our fight and advocacy against the lockdowns.\u00a0\u00a0We must have confidence to insist not only on a full reopening but\u00a0also\u00a0on the lifting of all public health restrictions.\u00a0\u00a0

Keep talking to your friends and neighbours, engage on social media and pressure your MPP to Open Ontario.\u00a0\u00a0 I\u00a0am concerned by the erosion of Constitutional Rights\u00a0in Canada and Ontario.\u00a0\u00a0

Over the course of a few weeks\u00a0we have witnessed the Federal Government\u00a0proceed\u00a0with a vaccine\u00a0passport,\u00a0thereby\u00a0creating two tiers of Canadians;\u00a0proceed with\u00a0Bill-C10\u00a0at Committee, by which the Federal Government will regulate online content; the\u00a0extension of Ontario\u2019s Emergency Orders to December;\u00a0and,\u00a0the use of the Notwithstanding Clause for the first time in Ontario\u2019s history,\u00a0on\u00a0legislation\u00a0that could potentially benefit the\u00a0Provincial Government.\u00a0\u00a0

As difficult as times\u00a0appear to be, we must continue to organize and mount an effective opposition and peaceful resistance against government and public health overreach.\u00a0\u00a0Fellow Canadians are counting on us to\u00a0advocate for\u00a0their freedoms and\u00a0defend against\u00a0the\u00a0erosion of Canada\u2019s democracy.\u00a0\u00a0

We are still awaiting a decision from the Ontario\u00a0Superior\u00a0Court of Justice in our\u00a0Application\u00a0against the Attorney General in defence of our Assembly and Religious Rights outdoors.\u00a0\u00a0We\u00a0will provide\u00a0an update as\u00a0soon as a decision is released.\u00a0\u00a0We are in process of\u00a0conceiving\u00a0additional litigation, as\u00a0the Rule of Law sits at the core of our democracy.\u00a0 Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful and\u00a0restful weekend.\u00a0\u00a0
