    Authorities in Quebec City, Canada have announced they will \nisolate \u201cuncooperative\u201d citizens in a coronavirus facility, the location\n of which remains a secret.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    During a press conference, Dr. Jacques Girard, who heads the Quebec \nCity public health authority, drew attention to a case where patrons at a\n bar were ordered to wait until their COVID-19 tests came back, but \ndisregarded the command and left the premises before the results came \nback positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This led to them being deemed \u201cuncooperative\u201d and forcibly interned in a quarantine facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201c[W]e may isolate someone for 14 days,\u201d Girard said during the press \nconference. \u201cAnd it is what we did this morning\u2026forced a person to \ncooperate with the investigation\u2026and police cooperation was \nexceptional.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
