This means we have\nto strengthen our resolve to educate people that the virus is no more deadly than\nthe regular flu and the ineffectiveness of mask use \u2013 combined with the political\nknowledge that they are being played like mice in a cage. <\/p>\n\n\n\nOn the heels of B.C.\u2019s Bill 19, which permitted the Provincial Gov\u2019t to\nextend emergency measures and take various actions without legislative\napproval, comes the recent announcement today by Health Minister Dix (and a\nfuture one later this week) that they are going to be cracking down on restaurants,\npartiers, and clearly protesters such as us. It has been shown to reduce the transmission of\nrespiratory illness in a military trainee setting,44 although there are no data\nto demonstrate that hand-washing deters the spread of influenza within a\ncommunity. <\/p>\n\n\n\nLarge-Scale Quarantine Measures <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\nThere are no historical observations or scientific\nstudies that support the confinement by quarantine of groups of possibly\ninfected people for extended periods in order to slow the spread of influenza. <\/p>\n\n\n\nA World Health Organization (WHO) Writing Group,\nafter reviewing the literature and considering contemporary international\nexperience, concluded that \u201cforced isolation and quarantine are ineffective\nand impractical<\/em>. Despite this recommendation by experts, mandatory\nlarge-scale quarantine continues to be considered as an option by some\nauthorities and government officials<\/em>.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\nThe negative consequences of large-scale quarantine\nare so extreme (forced confinement of sick people with the well; complete\nrestriction of movement of large populations; difficulty in getting critical\nsupplies, medicines, and food to people inside the quarantine zone) that this\nmitigation measure should be eliminated from serious consideration. <\/p>\n\n\n\nTravel Restrictions <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\nTravel restrictions, such as closing airports and\nscreening travelers at borders, have historically been ineffective. The World\nHealth Organization Writing Group concluded that \u201cscreening and quarantining\nentering travelers at international borders did not substantially delay virus\nintroduction in past pandemics . . . and will likely be even less effective in the\nmodern era.\u201d2 <\/p>\n\n\n\nSimilar conclusions were reached by public health\nauthorities involved in the international efforts to control SARS. Canadian\nhealth authorities report that \u201cavailable screening measures for SARS were\nlimited in their effectiveness in detecting SARS among inbound or outbound\npassengers from SARS-affected areas.\u201d45 A review by a WHO Working Group on SARS\nalso concluded that \u201centry screening of travelers through health declarations\nor thermal scanning at international borders had little documented effect on\ndetecting SARS cases.\u201d46 <\/p>\n\n\n\n——————- <\/p>\n\n\n\nIn what can only be described as an unbelievable case\nof Constitutional infringement of one\u2019s power to make their own health\ndecisions, the State of Connecticut issued in April, announced an executive order\nthat residents cannot go outside without a mask or doctor\u2019s note.  That\u2019s right \u2013 you can\u2019t go for a walk anywhere\nin the public without a mask.  I wonder what\nthe penalties are for so doing?  Do they\nphysically beat you until they can get a mask on you? <\/p>\n\n\n\nWill I be fined if I don\u2019t wear a mask?<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\nLamont\nhas said the order is mostly \u201ccommon sense\u201d and that he expects residents to\nself-enforce the rule.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\nHowever,\nbusinesses can refuse you entry if you are not wearing a face covering.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.courant.com\/coronavirus\/hc-news-coronavirus-clb-face-mask-executive-order-connecticut-20200420-a7yfuio5nzebll3xwrg2ys3fbi-story.html\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\nAnd stupid people like the Kelowna woman who wrote to\nthe editor last week claiming that she didn\u2019t care about the Charter or Rights\nand Freedom, or \u201cmy body, my choice<\/em>\u201d, all that mattered was governments make\nmandatory mask laws.  People that stupid\ndo not deserve rights and freedoms.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\nCombine that with the recent findings where studies\nnow show that the coronavirus can travel as far as 5m or 15\u201d.  So now what?  We all have to stand 15\u201d from each other in the rain to get into a store?\nAll communications come to an end as people are too far away to talk without\nscreaming.  Every third checkout is now\nonly open? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/vietreader.com\/world\/11172-new-reseach-shows-airdroplets-from-covid-19-patient-can-spread-to-5-meters.html\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n——————- <\/p>\n\n\n\nDid\nyou know that the regular flu virus can have over 15 000 viruses\/m3<\/sup>?  <\/p>\n\n\n\nIn the infected samples, the average concentration of flu viruses was\n15,000 viruses per cubic meter of air and the average size of a flu virus\nparticle was less than 2.5 micrometers. That means the viruses could stay\nsuspended in the air for hours, the study said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.livescience.com\/35437-flu-particles-prevalent-in-air-public-places.html\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\nIn a completely moronic and hypocritical article\ncalled:  \u201cCOVID-19 \u2018Super Spreaders\u2019\nquickly fill room with virus \u2013 but masks help<\/em>.\u201d, Dennis Thompson claims\nthat masks can \u201ccan help prevent the spread of COVID-19<\/em>\u201d in a room with\nthe newly coined word, \u2018super spreader\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\nFor anyone who has listened to me speak and seen the\nsupporting studies and materials we have put out on the masks issue, this is\ncompletely unsupportable. Further, read the words.  He does not state that masks prevent the spread\nof COVID-19, but that they can help<\/em> to prevent the spread of the\nvirus.  Talk about double speak.  There is no conclusion that masks help at all,\nonly that that CAN help. He does not state that masks WILL help or anything\nremotely analogous to that. <\/p>\n\n\n\nNow the kicker. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n\u201cBut a severely infected person who’s\ncoughing frequently can\nfill a poorly ventilated room with as many as 7.4 million copies of the\ncoronavirus for every cubic meter of air, according to researchers\nMichael Riediker and Dai-Hua Tsai, from the Swiss Centre for Occupational and\nEnvironmental Health in Winterthur.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.webmd.com\/lung\/news\/20200727\/covid-19-super-spreaders-quickly-fill-room-with-virus—-but-masks-help#1\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\nWow.  Even if only 1-2 million viruses\/m3<\/sup>, does anyone really think\na porous mask with holes all round the facial edges, is going to stop that many\nviruses, or anything in remote proximity to that from being inhaled into one\u2019s\nbody?  Even an N-95 mask would, assuming\na virus 3 microns or larger (or droplets), only stop 95% of the millions of\nviruses in the air, leaving hundreds of thousands of viruses to still infect someone.  <\/p>\n\n\n\nAlso, it is now claimed that you can\nbecome infected through the membranes of the eyes.  Well, masks will do nothing there. <\/p>\n\n\n\nNOTE:<\/strong>  Though I included\nthis only in the title of the document and a quote, we should all try to\nrefrain from using their buzzwords.  So\nnow they call infected people super spreaders.  Interesting that you do not see that applied to people who have the common\ncold or the flu, oui?
