That the Canadian Association for Free Expression be added as an intervenor pursuant to Rule 15.02 of the Rules of Court;<\/p>\n

In the alternative, that the Canadian Association for Free Expression be granted leave to intervene in the proceedings as a friend of the court for the purpose of rendering assistance to the court pursuant to Rule 15.03 of the Rules of Court; and<\/p>\n

Such further and other relief as this Honourable Court deems just.<\/p>\n

The grounds to be argued in support of the Motion are:<\/p>\n

A hearing was scheduled to take place on July 31st, 2013 before this honourable Court prior to the Canadian Association for Free Expression being able to retain counsel to apply for intervenor status;<\/p>\n

The Canadian Association for Free Expression has an interest in the subject matter of these proceedings;<\/p>\n

The Canadian Association for Free Expression may be adversely affected by the Court\u2019s decision in the matter;
\nThe granting of intervenor status to the Canadian Association for Free Expression will not unduly delay or prejudice the determination of the rights of the parties;
\nThis matter involves questions of public policy and public interests;
\nSuch further and other grounds as the Canadian Association for Free Expression may argue at or before the proceedings.<\/p>\n

The Canadian Association for Free Expression will rely on Rules 1.03(2), 1.08, 3.02, 15.02, 15.03, 7, 39 and 59 of the New Brunswick Rules of Court.
