As I am traveling and since you did NOT send this to me in EMAIL (though you declared you had), but via Federal Express (and not even to be signed for), I have had to have your letter sent to me in ‘picture’ mode through email. \u00a0Thus your appalling letter below and I will address 5 points.<\/p>\n
1) \u00a0On April 1, 2016, I petitioned Ms. Chisolm for a time slot for my cable show, now named CONNECT THE DOTS. \u00a0Because of it’s controversial nature, she moved and maintained my show to\/at midnight, AKA SAFE HARBOR. \u00a0 Over my 3+ years\u2019 association with Ms. Chisolm, she knew the shows were extremely controversial, that I featured the internationally renowned Jim and Joe Rizoli and a number of other politically INCORRECT personalities and topics, including myself, and it wasn’t an issue with her because … I WAS SLOTTED IN SAFE HARBOR. \u00a0This was to protect my right to express my opinions about politics, our wretched government, the lying WWII history we are force fed and yes, even the holocaust fraud and\/or whatever else is going on in our pathetic world.<\/p>\n
2) \u00a0During this process to attempt to gain a time slot, which took 8 months (first airing Jan 1, 2017), I requested on more than one occasion a copy of WACA-TV POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL (and still would like to see it). She said there was none. \u00a0It was obvious, she made all the decisions and didn’t need a manual to do that. \u00a0(So your citing the now existent but then NONexistent manual is disingenuous AND THUS pointless – I had neither been given nor offered the NONEXISTENT manual.)<\/p>\n
3) \u00a0And since you mentioned the FCC, I would like to direct your attention to this paragraph on their site. \u00a0 In regard to WACA-TVs censorship, they are out of order, wrong and in violation of FCC practices:<\/p>\n
The FCC and Freedom of Speech, Mar 8, 2019 – guide: \u00a0What is the FCC\u2019s Responsibility? The FCC is barred by law from trying to prevent the broadcast of any point of view. The Communications Act prohibits the FCC from censoring broadcast material, in most cases, and from making any regulation that would interfere with freedom of speech. Expressions of views that do not involve a \u201cclear and present danger of serious, substantive evil\u201d come under the protection of the Constitution, which guarantees freedom of speech and freedom of the press and prevents suppression of these expressions by the FCC. According to an FCC opinion on this subject, \u201cthe public interest is best served by permitting free expression of views.\u201d This principle ensures that the most diverse and opposing opinions will be expressed, even though some may be highly offensive.<\/p>\n

4) \u00a0Your reference to the rampant, out-of-control censorship mindset of social media against Jim Rizoli, for example on YouTube, as your excuse to censor me is unconscionable. \u00a0 It is especially so for WACA-TV since recently, they featured a program promoting “free speech.” \u00a0Because of my experience with them, I conclude that it is only lip service, no matter how many functionally constitutionally illiterate guests they have pretending to support free speech … well, free speech for some, not me and evidently not free speech for black conservatives featured on my May RACIALLY AWARE program, the last show aired on my CONNECT THE DOTS program on WACA-TV.) \u00a0 WACA-TV, cable TV and ALL internet social media constitute the MODERN PUBLIC SQUARE no matter how much you wish to disassociate yourselves as a ‘corporation’. \u00a0It is PUBLIC broadcasting and thus, are responsible to protect the rights – freedom of expression \u2013 to ALL THE PUBLIC.<\/p>\n
5) \u00a0If there actually is a manual (unable to locate on the obscure WACA-TV website), I venture to say there would be a protocol for dealing with ‘unpleasant’ thought and expression and that would NOT include summarily suspending\/censoring a member with 3 years of association\/good standing.<\/p>\n
I vehemently protest WACA (and by association) your sanctions and prohibition of the expression of my free speech with weak and pitiful legal references. Their and your behaviors support the ANTI-FREEDOM communist mindset growing and controlling New England. This is not the LAND OF THE FREE because it is NOT the home of the freedom-loving (and protecting) brave. \u00a0(Oh, and by the way, perhaps you could send your letter to my email as well this time.)<\/p>\n
