This zine specifically features and promotes black and brown lgbtqa creatives,\u201d the description states. \u201cWe hope to showcase our talent and create an open space for our voices to be heard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The description goes on to explain that \u201cfor a very long time, black and brown people, especially those who are queer, have been told that they don\u2019t have a space. That they don\u2019t have a voice or a say. With this we would like to create a space.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Student Kayla Ramey further elaborated on the event\u2019s purpose in a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/547422292303669\/permalink\/553271371718761\/\">comment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI keep having to make this post but I&#8217;ll try it one last time so everyone clearly understands. The name of the zine is\u00a0<em>No Whites Allowed<\/em>. It&#8217;s a zine for QPOC and by QPOC,\u201d Ramey wrote, noting that while \u201cwhite people are welcome to come to the event,\u201d the \u201cmain goal is to celebrate and empower people that society routinely ignores and rejects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSupport from white people and heterosexual people is appreciated but is not necessary for the success of this event,\u201d she continued, stating in a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/547422292303669\/permalink\/552340858478479\/?ref=1&amp;action_history=null\">second comment<\/a>\u00a0that \u201cinclusion is not inherently good, and exclusion is not inherently bad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.campusreform.org\/?ID=10475\">[RELATED: Prof claims \u2018there is no such thing as black racism\u2019]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>An individual named Thor Menslage questioned whether the event would constitute \u201cracism\u201d by excluding \u201cwhites,\u201d but he was rebuffed by defenders of the event who stated that \u201cthere have literally been whites-only establishments that were government sanctioned and approved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo you&#8217;re saying that because segregation happened, it&#8217;s fine to be racist against Whites?\u201d Menslage countered, to which another student, Katie Gee scoffed that\u00a0\u201cequality is just more cishet [cisgender heterosexual] white supremacist patriarchy trying to write the narrative.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have a host of liberal organizations who regularly pass around anti-white propaganda,\u201d one anonymous student told\u00a0<em>Campus Reform<\/em>. \u201cOur campus does nothing about this, doesn&#8217;t label it hate speech, won&#8217;t remove it, etc.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.campusreform.org\/?ID=8301\">[RELATED: Berkeley students barricade bridge, force whites to cross creek]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>UTSA Chief Communications Officer Joe Izbrand, however, told\u00a0<em>Campus Reform<\/em>\u00a0that the flyer had, in fact, been removed by university officials upon its discovery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis flyer showed up on Feb. 15,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was not approved or authorized by the university and was not affiliated with any campus organization or event.
